Thank you** A: My son pushes it along the floor and still works on the track too. Not sure it is meant too but he is 3 so he just goes with it. Hope that helps. **Q: Will it run on any wooden track** A: It is designed for the plastic trackmaster. My son has had them on a wooden track too and they sometimes get stuck or fall off.
