After 30 years of yoga, I’ve developed a problem with my spine. I still need/want to do some exercises but was finding it difficult on my old mat. This has solved my problem . It is so thick and comfortable. If there is a downside it is of course bulkier than my old one, but I’ve managed to find a new corner to keep it when not in use. One very happy customer.

It was fantastic to come across this item. I have fragile knees and when I have to kneel in classes it can be painful. I've been desperate to find a portable fitness mat thick enough and I've finally found it!! Approx 1 inch thick so 24mm plus. It's great quality and size for my gym needs, I opted for purple colour and it's lovely. Easy to transport with handles. Actually looking forward to Fridays class now!!!

Lovely and thick yoga mat. Much more comfortable than the standard thinner ones. I’m 5’ 10” and it’s more than long enough for me.

I could not do floor exercises where kneeling was involved, too painful, but this remedies the situation and enables me to do them. The extra thickness of this mat to me was well worth the higher cost - so full marks and highly recommended!

I thought the thickness would be good as I have sensitive knees, however this mat is thick and springy which makes balancing tricky. I tried it once and immediately realised I'll have to buy another mat!

I bought this to replace a thinner mat I used for Pilates. I did this because I was having pains in my knees and hips when doing certain moves. This mat solved that problem. However, for Pilates moves requiring balance it does make those more challenging. The clue for that is in the product name. Ultimately this is a plus, not a negative. An unexpected plus is just how comfy and warm this mat is when camping. From a comfort and warmth perspective it is better than various airbeds and air mats. It is quite bulky so for camping trips where space is at a premium you'll have to forgoe its comfort. I'm approaching my 7th decade so those sorts of trips are in my past so for me, the comfort of this mat makes camping possible.

The thickness of the mat and the price was why I went for this as a birthday present.The recipient was over the moon

The mat is nice and thick, might be a little bit wobbly

*Pre-warning, longer review! *The few marks you might see on the mat are from use, and the strap, plus storage as well, but it usually bounces back. I did a ton of research before purchasing this yoga mat, (2 whole weeks), bc I just couldn't find all the things I wanted in 1 mat, until this mat. I'm not too much of a, "spring chicken w/ a 6 pack", anymore, (let's just say 40+ & mildly out of shape, lol, life will definitely do a number on the ol' body)! So, I was looking for very specific features in my mat. 1) I have lower back issues, and a knee issue, so a thicker, more comfortable mat was a MUST, I didn't want to feel the floor through the mat, bc that would aggravate my back & knee. 2) It had to be a quality, non-slip material that was of decent quality. 3) The price had to be reasonable for what I was getting, too cheap & you get cheap, decent quality is going to cost a little more & I was fine w/ that. 4) Good customer service was a must as a yoga mat is one of those items that get a lot of use, and I wasn't going to get stuck w/ a mat, the minute it arrived, if the quality didnt hold up. I not only wanted a company that stands behind it's product, but a company who's also easy to contact, and deal with. I'm being totally upfront here, I'm no yogi/yoga guru nor am I a yoga fanatic. I'm still kinda new to yoga, plus I wanted my mat for other exercises & stretches that aren't yoga. Well, after all my research I went w/ this mat bc it, "checked all the boxes for me", and as a bonus it comes in multiple colors incl my favourite the color purple. The mat is a true 1 inch mat, which gives it a more plush, cushy feeling, than other mats, so if you're looking for a more thin, not much material between you and the floor, than this 1' inch mat is not for you. Luckily this same company does have mats in various thickness's and colors. It also came w/ a carrying strap, (velcro, perfect for this application), and full warranty info which is 2 years, and unbelievably that's apparently rare. The mat doesn't come w/ the stamped on yoga position tree, but in my opinion it wasn't even on my list. There is a slight, "off gasing", that will go away after opening, just let it sit out unrolled for a bit after opening. I'm not sensitive to the, "off gasing", of products, but w/ this mat it wasn't as sever as some products can be. Also, it arrived very quickly and well packaged. As I'm new to, "yoga mats", and their use I will update this review if I do run into any quality or daily use issues, but the time I've had it so far, I love it. I know this review was long, but I wanted to be thorough, so I hope this helps. If you're looking for a yoga mat, or a mat in general, and your looking for similar features that I was this mat DEFINITELY fits the bill.

I finally decided to stretch out this body of mine and need a THICK mat as I have oak hardwood floors, and this product delivered. Mind you, it's the size of a log rolled-up and made me laugh thinking about carrying this about :D I use it soft movements when doing Yoga with Bird on her YouTube channel. *a little promo for her as she is great for beginners*. Comfort and the length is perfect as I'm 5' 10, so no complaints. I can't speak to its durability if you are a hard core yogi doing twists or digging into the mat. For my purposes, this mat does its job!
