More Good Feist
Another really good page turner from Feist. I am reading Feist chronologically. Some of the conceptualisation of the relationships between different worlds and creatures jumping (conveniently and inconveniently) between them to suit the plot seems a bit contrived or on the run however which means I mark this down a bit on earlier series in Midkemia. I recommend the Kelewan series written with Jani Wurtz over this one but a good read nevertheless.

Just love his writing
Raymond Feist writes a spell binding tale. I always have issues putting his books down at the confrontation chapters. He has built many chartacters quirks & weaknesses from book to book saga to saga. Just love his writing.

Wonderful Adventure
The imagination of the author is beyond my comprehension, but makes for a wonderful adventure into realms that I have thoroughly enjoyed. The attention to detail is excellent & I have no idea how he manages to remember details of the long-running plot.

An intriguing compelling read, weaves the story of the great and the good along with the lives of the ordinary into a gran narrative of life to be saved at the basic level of one person worth saving to the fate on an entire world and more.

This is a really great series to read.

Wonderfully written, full of the details that allow us to escape to a different reality, but it is hard to accept that Pug can have so much magical power and not intervene earlier. Why is such an intelligent person so slow to realise that the pursuit and maintenance of power in the interests of the few is the real problem in any world? Whether external powers are manipulating this human failing is irrelevant. Do you have to find the cause of the disease before you treat the symptoms and ease the suffering? Wouldn't you do both in parallel? But, it is a story, perhaps I should just enjoy the escape...

I was hooked after the first page and couldn't put it down. I haven't been gripped by a book series like I was this one since I read Lord of the Rings as a teenager.

This is a good read on it's own but better if you've also read the books prior to these. In one of these books the end just creeps up on you and leaves things a bit flat, you feel like there should have been more to it. But this is forgivable because there's more to follow in the next book. The characters are well developed and there are some interesting philosophies underlying the saga. All in all a very enjoyable read and I'd recommend to anyone who likes the 'sword and sorcery' genre. Looking forward to reading the other books that follow in this saga.
