Darco Med-Surg Shoe, Black, Men's Medium 8-1/2 to 10

This product has helpmeets has helpmeets has helpmeets wounds on both feet it has been very difficult to find anything that is comfortable and as durable as the Darco shoe. I was recommended by my wound care doctor to get this product and I am so grateful he did he did. I love how the souls can come out and you can put another insert in CERT and she has called the peg assist which helps offload any pressure to my wounds. Again such an amazing product

Quality is there. So far it works and it's comfortable.

I wear a size 10 to 10.5 in women's shoes and ordered the 8 1/2 to 10 men's shoe. It fit me great, and I only had a little bit of extra at the end of my toes. I had a broken toe, so this was perfect to allow me to go to out of the house when I couldn't wear shoes. I did have a little bit of an issue getting it snug enough closer to my toes, but not a deal breaker. I only wore it a handful of times before I could get a shoe on again, and towards the end I noticed the sole/insert part of the shoe (that your foot sits on) was separating from the outer part (that touches the ground). I pushed it back in and tried to make it snug, but with wear it would just pop out again. It could be a tripping hazard for someone injured if they weren't paying attention. The shoe itself is also super stiff. So it's great if you need that kind of support. For the price and my needs, it was a great buy.

There's nothing to dislike. It's all good. Easy adjustable straps in the back, over the top of the foot and across the front of the foot. It assures a great fit.

It was easy to use, very reasonable priced, and if worn regularly when you have a broken toe, you will have less pain and your foot will heal more quickly. This shoe has an excellent sole and was great to wear when walking out of doors.

The shoe we received looked used and did not have the Darco label as it shows in the photos. It also did not fit a man’s size 9 foot. We are returning for a refund.

There is really only one use for this shoe and that's to protect a wounded foot. To that end this product works exactly as described.

Secure fit. I did need to extend the ankle strap to reach the Velcro closure. I have an amputation of the toes. The solid flap secures the foot well. It's not ideal but works.i wish it were a bit shorter in the front and had a closed toe area. It does have issues depending on how your foot is wrapped. once you're healed wearing regular socks it will work better. It's a better solution than a 3 strap model but it's s still lacking and needs some adjustments.
