You will need to buy distilled water to use this item. I bought a 5l container and have refilled the kit 5 times and still have water over. What can I say, I had a lot of records to clean (and friends records once they learned what i was doing. Really gives singles, LPs and 88s a deep clean, mine hadn't been played for about 40 years and dust and nicotine contamination was bad. After, the record sound was far better, few if any crackles or jumps (they had been played a lot, but almost all played as well as when I bought them). So, item is sturdy in use, and I think well worth the price. RECOMMEND THIS ITEM.

This is such an easy record cleaner to use. I’d say the only annoying thing is having to buy the distilled water for it but the outcome of the clean records is great. I’ve spent the weekend just going through my whole collection and cleaning it. From what I’ve seen with the automatic cleaners is they can take a while to clean where as this you spin the record 3 time to the right slowly and then 3 to the left slowly, wipe the excess drops of water with the supplied micro fibre cloth after pulling out of the water bath slowly and then you sit it on the rack to dry for 5 minutes and put away in an anti static sleeve (I use spincare‘s inner sleeves for this, they work great). The drying rack holds 10 records at a time so you can clean 10 records and by the time you’ve cleaned your 10th record your 1st record will probably be dry and ready to store in the sleeve. The results of the wet clean are great for the price of the product. The static is practically gone, especially in the very quiet parts of songs. As all cleaners this doesn’t get rid of scratches so you will still have them pops and clicks from scratches. I’m very happy with this as I always are with spincare’s products and would definitely recommend if you want to clean 7,10 and 12 inch records to a good standard, quickly, easily and cheaply, either brand new or used records. One of the downsides is this isn’t really worth using for cleaning any less than 25 records at a time but for me that’s it really.

Brilliant product. I had a few hundred records that had been stored in the garage for 10 years. Sealed in a box but still attracted mould and dirt. Sounded terrible after using cleaner and a cloth. Using this the effort was washed out rather than rubbed in. The records sound like new. After saying that, like another stated. A capfull of solution is unlikely to shift much. I used around 70% distilled water and 30% isopropyl alcohol. I deducted a star because of the horrific price for something that probably only cost a few pounds to produce.

I have a decent sized vinyl collection my oldest album 1963 and my newest 1980. So at the time of writing my youngest album is still nearly 45 years old !!. In all that time I'm ashamed to say all I've done is blow the dust off the playing surfaces and used a record cleaning brush. I needed to clean my records it was decades overdue !!. I didn't want to spend 100"s of pounds on a machine ( I'd rather use the money to buy more albums). So the spincare system seemed like a good option. Im going to be honest, I was apprehensive about buying anything that might render them unplayable, but I brought the record cleaner and the result has been amazing. I listen to prog rock so I regard myself as a critical listener. It's not the sort of music you put on and then have it as background music, you sit down and really listen to it. I can honestly say that my albums simply play so much better. They sound clearer and more vibrant than before and by a considerably amount as well. The vinyl itself looks like new again. It shines and the surfaces are dust, hair and debris free. Definitely an excellent purchase for anyone who has an old collection or perhaps albums that have been brought 2nd hand. Or simply a collection that needs to be cleaned to play and sound better. Just read the instructions contained within the packaging and follow them to the letter. Use Distilled water NOT TAP WATER... I would also recommend that you throw away the old paper sleeves that the albums came in and buy some anti static sleeves. This is a superb bit of kit and I highly recommend it and have no regrets in buying it.

easy to setup and use, great for cleaning those records that have been collecting dust for donkeys years. Good quality item , love that it has a drying rack .

Absolut superb! Wer Handarbeit nicht scheut, wird mit diesem einfachen, aber durchdachten Reinigungssystem seine helle Freude haben. Die unmissverständliche Bedienungsanleitung unbedingt befolgen!!! Diese liegt zwar nur in englischer Sprache vor, lässt sich aber mit einfachem Schulenglisch weitgehend verstehen. Keine Angst vor herabrinnender Reinigungsflüssigkeit. Diese perlt entlang der Schallplattenrillen außerhalb des Labels ab. Nach Reinigung, Abtropfen und Abwischen mit den gelieferten Tüchern (vorher lt. Bedienungsanleitung waschen) unbedingt in antistatische Innenhüllen geben. Von der selben Firma Spincare liegt ausgezeichnete Ware vor. Hier bitte beachten, dass es für die LPs 2 verschiedene Ausführungen gibt, solche, welche man in die schon vorhandenen Innenhüllen schieben kann und anderereits solche, welche die alten vorhandenen Innenhüllen komplett ersetzen. Mit der Verwendung der herausragend handlichen und stylischen "Goat Hair Record Brush" Ziegenhaarbürste von Thakker bleiben die Schallplatten optisch und akustisch in einem neuwertigen Zustand. Leider können Kratzer, die durch unsachgemäße oder unvorsichtige Behandlung vor langer Zeit entstanden sein mochten, naturgemäß nicht mehr rückgängig gemacht werden. Dennoch - wer wieder Freude an seinen alten Schätzchen entdecken möchte - für den kann ich dieses Produkt ohne Abstriche bestens empfehlen!

Machine à laver les disques de conception simple et ancienne mais robuste et efficace ! Les disques sont bien propres et c'est bien moins pénibles que les nettoyer à la main. Il est facile de faire une grosse session de nettoyage avec ce produit. A l'intérieur de la box, il y a tout ce qu'il faut : la machine contenant l'égouttoir, deux flacons de produits (il ne faut que 4 bouchons pour une session d'une cinquantaine de disques donc c'est plutôt économique bien que je ne fasse pas de session de 50 disques à nettoyer et il faut jeter la solution à chaque fois) et deux chiffons : l'un sur lequel poser le disque venant d'être égoutté et l'autre pour finir de l'essuyer. En ce qui concerne le label central, la conception fait qu'il ne peut pas être mouillé. Un petit livret est également fourni. Enfin, il faut noter qu'en cas de question ou besoin, le service client est disponible et aide volontiers. Il faut leur écrire en anglais néanmoins (marque britannique oblige). Produit à recommander sans hésiter.

This is a dreadful product that should be avoided at all costs. It covered my records in gunk, which led to the stylus blocking up and severe distortion - even on new, relatively clean records. The brush rollers broke within minutes of using it, one leaping out of its housing and snapping in half. Both rubber bands bunched up and made it very difficult to turn the records. Do not buy this product, you're just throwing money away.
