Lightweight & portable, I've enjoyed using this keyboard
While going away for a week, my freelance work needed to continue. Not wanting to drag a laptop to what I hoped would be mostly a vacation, I opted to purchase this portable, folding, bluetooth keyboard. It's large enough for me to have typed emails and documents comfortably. It does seem a bit fragile so I put it in a carrying pouch (in this case it was a tiny purse I aleady owned. The purse is probably 7" wide and 6" tall with enough room to carry the folded up keyboard and charging cord). I would have protected it anyway as I think all electronics need to be used -- and carried -- with care. The charge lasted for as long as I needed it and it connected effortlessly with my phone. I've enjoyed using this keyboard and plan on utilizing it past my recent trip as I think it's quite handy to have, if like me you don't do well typing out long emails by phone (which sometimes is a necessity in my line of freelance work). Oh, and when it's folded back up it turns itself off. I find that to be quite a good feature.

Very pragmatic product, great design
This review was typed entirely using the foldable bluetooth keyboard. The size is comfortable and easy to use. The keyboard itself is very lightweight, as is the included stand for the phone. Bluetooth pairing was fast and seamless and the connection has been maintained without issue. I like the fact that the keyboard arrived already charged. The quality feels nice, and the faux leather outer trim is a nice touch. I appreciate having a full size numeric key row. The tab key works well to toggle between input fields and selectable buttons on my phone. I will update this review with any applicable critical feedback as I continue to use the device.

Great keyboard, works well except for 2 things: program keys and the "n" key
Overall, I like this keyboard very much, having used it now for over 6 months and taken it all over when traveling. It's sturdy, and works wired or via bluetooth, and my MBPro recognizes it right away. It's light and its small form factor makes it an ideal "travel" keyboard. (I certainly wouldn't use this full time however.) The keys (except for the "n") are responsive. On the minus side are two things: 1) none of the the function keys can be programmed and it doesn't even allow for any other "Command- " combinations, so you are stuck with whatever the manufacturer has them programmed for, which of course is never what you want them for. That means in all your programs (Photoshop, or Word or whatever) and even just normal OS functionality (programming "Command - 1" or "Command 2" for something for example as most people do) won't work when you use this keyboard. That means you will get very frustrated as your "muscle memory" will keep hitting function combinations that won't work. Another issue is the "N" key. Do to the proximity to the hinge, and oddly, the fact that it is a wider key on this keyboard than the other keys (not sure why) , the fulcrum point of the key is towards the hinge, not the center, which means that your finger often doesn't get a chance to completely depress the key by hitting over the center of it, as you would in normal typing, and so the "n" key does't fully get depressed and so doesn't;t input the letter. Smashing it with your finger in two-finger typing will do the trick though, or really hitting the keyboard hard when you type will increase the odds that the letter "n" will be input.. In the preceding sentence, for example, I had to go back and add back in every instance of the letter "n"... frustrating ad time consuming. (see what I mean???) For these reasons, I give it 4 stars. They need to fix the "n" key, and add programmability.

Great folding keyboard.
Great little keyboard! Pocket-sized (a largish pocket) makes it easy to take to my clinical site. I primarily use it with my iPad and it was easy to synch and charged right out of the box. I love that it turns off when you close it (my old BT keyboard had and on/off switch. It doesn’t slip when typing and although some of the keys are larger than others because of the folding, it doesn’t take much to get used to if you’re a touch typist. It’s pretty quiet and not as clacky as some Keyboards. Most of the other keys are in the usual place which is also nice. My one issue is that it is so thin that sometimes I put it on a notebook for comfort sake. Only been using it a few weeks but so far very pleased.

Poor quality product that will break after one week's use
I purchased this product because I liked the portability of it since I have an IPad. At first, it functioned great, but then after a week of inconsistent use (maybe 4 hours of use), the keys stopped working correctly. For example, when I punched the @ key, I got " instead, and when I punched the - key, I got ? instead. I would like to replace it, but already I don't have the packaging. I HIGHLY recommend that you DO NOT buy this product. 100% it will be the biggest waste of your money!! I repeat DO NOT BUY!

Excellent Keyboard! Amazing Customer Service!
I bought this keyboard for use with a Fusion5 tablet. I wanted something light and portable, yet USABLE. I had first purchased a different brand of folding keyboard, but the keys were just too small. The Samers keyboard is as big as my Lenovo laptop keyboard. The low profile makes it easy to reach whether on a table or on your lap. The setup could not be simpler... just open it, press the button to link it to your blue tooth connection. The back of the keyboard is leather... doesn't slide on a table, looks really smart and professional. I read some users didn't like that it didn't "lock" flat unless on a hard surface, but I found a simple workaround by adding a tablet cover that folds to open with part of the back cover sticking out from the bottom. Just open the keyboard on the edge of the cover and it's now on a flat surface even when the tablet is on your lap. Check out the photo... the Samers keyboard, the Fusion5 tablet, the Procase Universal Folio Leather Stand/Protective Case and a TECHNET Bluetooth Rechargeable Mouse... a perfect on-the-road combo. Amazing customer service from Samers... I sent an email asking a question and got an immediate response! This keyboard exceeds expectations! Thank you, Samers engineers!

Best purchase ever!
I tend to use my phone a LOT in lieu of my laptop as I seem to always be up and down around the house and for work as well. This keyboard has absolutely made my life SO much easier. I no longer have to go to a computer for ease of typing, when this keyboard is ready to go as soon as I open it up and press the button. It automatically and immediately connects to my phone and I can write a long email SO much faster than typing on my screen keyboard (and w/ fewer typos)!! I made this purchase in May and just now have it plugged in to recharge for only the 2nd time! I can’t believe it lasts so long. The biggest perk to this is that, well, I tend to procrastinate responding to emails bc I don’t want to take the time to go and sit down at the computer and do it. Now I can do it quickly and not make such a mental ‘big deal’ of it, and get it done! The keyboard is responsive with a nice soft click to the keys and is a perfect size. The outer cover is so soft and I think I recall it being described as leather — I believe that, and it looks classy. The phone stand that came with it has a little trick to opening, as it tends to flip open through the bottom and appears to be stuck that way but you just have to reflatten it and push it up the other direction. I use it often w/out the keyboard if I am watching a show while cooking, or reading on it while doing a project that needs both hands. Best purchase ever, I highly recommend!

They work great - until they don't
I have purchased quite a few of these different keyboards over the years. I have tried a few different brands, and several times have purchased the Samsers brand keyboards. I always use this with an Android phone. These keyboards are perfect as far as being a keyboard that is very close to an actual keyboard. I have no trouble typing on them whatsoever. That is saying something, because they are not all made alike. I bought a different company version one time, and I immediately returned it because it was impossible for me to type on it. The spacing and size of the keys were different, and it was not user friendly at all. These Samsers keyboards have it right as far as the spacing and sizing of the keyboard. When they work, they work great. I use these for work. I have to type reports frequently on my phone. To do this with the phone keyboard takes me forever. What I can do in five minutes with this keyboard, would take me 45 minutes to an hour with the phone keyboard. The problem with these keyboards is, they have always stopped working to a degree after a period of time, and it's usually within a few months. What will happen is that some keys will stop responding. It is super frustrating. What is odd is that, there will be some keys for example on the right side that will not respond. But if you push down on the key, as in push down and toward the bottom of the keyboard, a lot of times the key will respond. Honestly, I think that the issue ends up being that somehow the keys get slightly out of alignment with whatever type of strip is below the keys, and therefore they don't work. It is very possible that if when that happens, someone could figure out how to take these apart without destroying them, then perhaps the strip could be realigned with the keys and everything would work again. I don't know for sure....just theorizing. Most people probably won't fool with that, and I haven't figured out a quick and easy way to fix it. Regardless, once it gets to a point when certain keys stop working, then it becomes useless. If you are typing a sentence and suddenly one or more of the keys is not responding, then your sentence is missing a letter or letters. I have not found a better alternative yet to these Samsers model keyboards, but I sure wish they would figure out what causes these issues and correct them on future models. The company has to know about these issues. I am not the only one to mention it in reviews. So, I have no choice but to keep buying them once they quit working, because I have to have it to do my job.
