For little ones these settings can be tough when you consider new people, new surroundings, and difficult requests. When I saw how much interest she showed so quickly I immediately had to have one! It's amazing! The batteries it came with lasted *maybe* two hours lol Nothing a screwdriver and 3 AA batteries couldn't fix! When I replaced the batteries, I saw the ones that had been in there weren't a name brand (or at least not one I recognized) Once I replaced the batteries, they've so far lasted 3 days - so I'd say, plan to replace them pretty early on ...but once you do, it's not like they'll drain that fast moving forward. The spinning of the star with lights causes a bit of vibration and sound - great for sensory input and development! She's also slightly teething and I've noticed she enjoys putting it against her gums as it's running. The first one I ordered came damaged.
