For $15 I got two perfectly sized blocks that more than do the job of those $50 monitor pads that some companies sell. I can't hear my desk resonating with the bass anymore, and it was done wonders to clear up the frequency response of my room. This is a must for any home recording studio on a budget, you won't regret it!Also, I decided to try yoga as a sort of karma thing for how much these have helped me. I went into the local stores and was shocked at how much they were charging for what basically amounts to a square piece of foam. I searched online and found these blocks on Amazon that amounted to a greater deal.I am a 5'9 male weighing 180 pds. When I received these Yoga blocks, I had personal reservations on how well they would hold up under both my weight as well as some of the strenuous activities that my work out routine called for. There was no odor to the blocks as has been mentioned by other reviewers. Also, they were both the same size as sometimes foam blocks may arrive with each being a slightly different size.The blocks are very solid and firm yet soft to the touch. They hold up well under heavy weight as well as rigorous usage and are very supportive throughout the routine. I was impressed at how much stress it decreased in the bend of my wrist during many of the exercises.
