HOLY WOW 👌
Used a dark blue ion brights perm color about 2 weeks ago. I usually use different blues over the last 4 years... it was darker than I wanted. I have only tried to strip color from my hair 1 other time with a different product and was not impressed. Did some research and tried this...... I am picky!!!! BEYOND AMAZED!!! It pulled 98% of the color out. Was just a tiny shade off the original bleached color. The blue that bleach did not get out, this stuff lightened more than the bleach did! I am shookith and so so glad I tried this. If I ever make a hair color woopsy again, this is now my go to!!!! Photos are original bleach, color is went with, what oops got me back to

It worked for me
I am naturally a strawberry blond, but have been using an 8G color for 20+ years to add a little more red. I am a fan of the natural look. I decided to go a little darker with a 7C. BIG MISTAKE! It was way too dark and looked like FAKE red on me. I tried to color it again with my old color but it barely touched it. I was horrified and I wore a hat for days to hide my hair until I found this product. COLOR OOPS WAS A LIFE SAVER!!! I am so grateful. It removed the horrible dark color and restored things back to my natural color, or at least very close. It came with everything needed. The process was easy, but took a while because I followed the directions exactly. The process itself only took 20 minutes, but involved 4 washings and a total of 35 minutes of just rinsing. The smell wasn’t too bad, despite the claims. It smells like when I used to get my hair permed back in the 80’s and the scent sticks with you for a few days, but it’s subtle. Thank you Color Oops!

Won't take all the color
Decided to go gray so tried this color remover of my 30 years worth coloring. As you can see from the pictures it didn't remove all and left me a scary strawberry blond. THE SMELL! As all have said is pretty bad. Could still smell even after 7 shampoos later. Left my hair really dry. I gave it 4 stars because it did remove the color but 3 stars for what I was expecting to happen

Doesn’t work like it used to. Not happy that I wasted my money.
I have used this product a half dozen times over the past couple decades to remove dark brown box color. It has always worked well for me, until now. I followed all instructions, and even rinsed and shampooed for longer than it says, because rinsing is the key. It barely budged the color at all. I have to be under a certain light to even tell that it’s a tiny bit lighter. I don’t know what has changed in the four years since I last used this, but it’s not an improvement. I’m not happy at all that I wasted my money on this, and as a hair professional I will not recommend this product again to anyone. Just do a gentle bleach and save your time and money. I’d like a refund.

This works!!!
I’ll start in the beginning. So I’ve been dying my hair with permanent colors and fun colors for years! Everything from rainbow colors all the way to just black or blue black. In the last year I’ve also stupidly done box dye, and I think that’s where I started to ruin my hair. So my hair was feeling like it had a lot of build up and was difficult to style or even brush and now my color was looking very faded (my most recent color was denim from matrix so it’s an ashy darker blue type of color for reference) and just overall blah. So I figured I wanted a fresh start but I really didn’t wanna have to just chop my hair and do it that way so in my Google search this brand/product what is the most recommended with the least damage. So I gave it a shot! I will admit the smell was completely unpleasant very 80s box dye smelling, and when I put it on my hair, I was really pessimistic that it was going to do anything. And there’s one very important thing it says to rinse your hair for 20 minutes! I followed this to a T product was in my hair for 25 minutes. I rinse my hair with shampoo for 20 minutes and then I ended up deep conditioning my hair with a biotin hair mask that I use once a month anyways. This product works your hair will smell like the product for a couple of days. But it goes away and I’m so happy I have this fresh start for my hair. I even included a picture of it flat iron so you can see it has a lot of shine. It’s not frizzy I have curly hair so the after picture may not appear to be healthy, but it feels great! If you’re on the fence about buying this product, don’t be

Works then goes back to dark again.
First of all, this seemed to work great at first. I washed my hair 3 times to make sure it was all out, since several reviews said it darkens if you don’t rinse it well enough. It went from black, to strawberry blonde (close to my natural color) which seemed great. The box says you can dye it same day... since it was a few different shades I wanted to even it out... so I used a light auburn hair dye the next day, to try and even it out so it was at least close to all one color. What a huge mistake, my hair is nearly black again. It turned a super super dark auburn almost black. I am so upset I spent 2 days trying to fix my hair, spent over 100$ on 2 boxes of color oops, and my hair dye. For that price I should have just went to the salon and had it fixed properly and I wouldn’t be dealing with this issue. Also- it smells so strong it burns your eyes, I have had windows open, fans blowing and candles lit and it still smells so bad 2 days later. It’s like the smell just won’t leave my hair no matter how many times I wash it. If you wanna use this product to get a dye out and then not dye it, it’ll work, beware your hair will be a few different shades. But if you’re going to try and dye it after beware it might go to nearly the same color you used it to rinse out of your hair. I’m so confused as to why my hair basically turned black again, when the box clearly states that it is safe to dye your hair right away (I waited one day). I won’t buy this product again, just go to the salon it’s worth the money to not deal with the issues and what might happen to your hair. I gave 3 stars because if I didn’t dye my hair it worked, but they shouldn’t put on the box that you can dye your hair the same day, when clearly that is false because it turned my hair from blonde back to black.

Works well. And I had a LOT of junky colors in my hair.
SELLER Feedback: I will not take off a star for this, but the seller: "Mango Six B&M" sold me TWO boxes that BOTH had the large solution bottle with taped back up caps on, only half of the solution in it and wrapped in bubble tape. The other (small) solution bottle appeared to be full, but the lid was ALSO taped on. I had to combine the two bottles from each box. THank GOD I already bought a box of this stuff from CVS before this order arrived (I couldn't wait and I have long hair, so I thought I may need two treatments and then I forgot that this order already had two boxes coming). I am literally sitting here, with the solution on my hair (for a second application) from combining the contents of both boxes, hoping that it's not going to F-up my hair (WHY THE HELL was the solution bottle half full/empty??). PRODUCT Feedback: I have naturally blond hair that was dyed dark brown forever (past 9 1/2 years) and then I went burgundy/red for a long while with bouts of dark brown root touch-ups. Mostly box dye, with some salon dye-jobs in between. I saw my blond roots as they were growing out lately and now I had a rainbow mess and thought: "You know, I'm not turning gray yet and I'll be graying within the next 15 years, I bet, so maybe going back to blond will be less cumbersome and easier to maintain, since I'm naturally a blonde anyway!" - I want to go almost platinum and priced it out. With color correction, to get the red and dark brown out, I was looking at $150/ hour at a salon and I saw that women who were doing the same thing, were taking up to 6 hours in the salon! I don't know about you, but I don't have that kind of dough lying around. 1st application, was yesterday. I was impressed. The red/brown came out and I did see a LOT of orange tint in my hair, but I expected that. Especially since I put a lot of harsh red (box dye) pigment into it AND my blond is a really brassy/ yellow/ orange one anyway. I thought that I shampooed and then rinsed enough, but I may not have. After a while, after a blow-out, today, it looks a bit darker. I read up and found that I did not rinse enough (do not rinse until water is clear, just KEEP rinsing for 20 minutes). Here I am right now, reapplying a 2nd application (using Olaplex treatment with it, so that my hair integrity is not compromised by the peroxide) because I still have a dark band of hair that goes around my head, above my ears that is still noticeable after the first lift (must have been a certain salon or box dye job that was different from the rest. It was already a darker shade than the rest of my head before attempting this color lift). After writing that last paragraph, I went and rinsed for 20 minutes. Holy moly, that is an exercise in patience....rinsing for an ENTIRE 20 minutes! All in all, it works great. just be ready to use a purple shampoo or toner to eliminate serious brassiness and use Olaplex and a deep conditioning treatment to insert moisture back into the hair shaft. I am going to put coconut oil in my hair for the rest of the day after the Olaplex treatment formula 2 that I have in my hair is rinsed out. I will probably give my hair another day of rest after this before I start bleaching. The poor dear has been through enough already.

I'd recommend!
So, I had them 3 AM quarantine zoomies and decided to dye my hair half red, and keep the other half platinum as I previously had it. It was good, it was coo, and then the novelty wore off. I had heard good things about Color Oops and since the color was extra bold (firetruck frikkin red) over platinum, I went with the extra strength. Does it smell great? Nope. But I applied the remover all over the red parts of my hair, covered it in the provided plastic cap, threw a beanie on over that (heat helps A LOT!!) and waited 20 mins. Then, I hopped in a warm shower and used some charcoal infused shampoo to wash the entirety of my hair, set a timer for 20 minutes and just totally zoned out. I sat on the shower floor and made sure my hair was under the water to be rinsed the entire time. When the 20 mins was up, I reshampooed, per the instructions, and rinsed super thoroughly. I still smell vaguely egg-y, but my hair went from deep dark super vibrant red, to blonde with the lightest twinge of strawberry in it. I actually love it and I'm going to dye the rest of my hair to match that, but honestly, if I had wanted to go back to icy platinum, I could totally have done a bleach wash and a purple mask and gotten there pretty easily. Point is, follow the instructions, have some air freshener on hand for your bathroom, and don't expect to go from black to ice blonde in one sitting. This product work very reasonably and I'm definitely satisfied with how well it lifted the color!
