Handy Caddy Sliding Kitchen Under Cabinet Appliance Moving Caddy

Works as advertised. Which is surprising given that it’s one of those “As Seen on TV!” deals. My Uncle had one for his coffee pot. It slid under the top cabinet for day storage. And it slid out for use and hot steam venting in the morning. I bought one for my own coffee pot as soon as I got home. Perfect,no. Functional, about 90% yes. It has a tendency to move a bit on the back end when it’s fully extended. The one real short coming: it only comes in one width. It can be a problem depending on how the feet and bottom contour of your appliance lands on the sliding shelf. Fortunately, the bottom of mine is flat, and the rubber feet are just wide enough to bracket the shelf. My coffee pot hangs over on both sides by 2-3 inches. Now, I’m considering other applications…. I.E. the toaster with a silicone hot pad underneath to keep from melting this do-jabber. Etc.

This is the exact same product selling for around $24.95. Another reviewer tipped me off in his review that he thought these were the same products, and they are. I love these and I love the price even better. I ordered three for all my appliances and they look great and they glide right on out and right on back. I have a Keurig on one and it fits exactly... and I can pull it out and put it back in. I didn't need it for the clearance of the lift up pod cover, I needed it because I have it sitting in front of an electrical outlet that I sometimes want to use. These are so handy for anything, even in the office or the bathroom that you want to store along the wall, but will want to be able to slide towards you for any reason. Gives your area clean look. It really is satisfying to find something that is totally awesome and worth the price you pay for it. Very happy with my purchase. The three I purchased came in a large box and were protected, there were no issues with the packaging.

The Handy Caddy is great! I was having to pull my coffee maker out from under the cabinets every time I used it. Now it stays tucked away when not in use, keeping my counter space clear, and easily slides out when I want to make coffee. I have the Ninja Dual Brew coffee maker and it fits perfectly. It was super easy to assemble and slides easily with no complaints. It stops on its own when you pull it all the way out, so you don’t have to worry about it sliding completely off the tracks. The weight of the coffee maker keeps it in place as well so it doesn’t move around at all. This was such a simple and affordable solution!

Primary takeaway: this actually works. My counter space is very limited. My Keurig doesn't fit under my cabinets when it is opened to insert k-cups and/or to fill it with water (both pretty much happen daily). I either had to leave it sitting half way out on the counter (wasting space) or pick it up every morning and move it out and put it back under when I was done...kind of takes away from the convenience of the Keurig. I opted for the lazy route and left it half way out but it still took up too much space. One morning I had the idea to look to see if anyone else had run into this problem and it turns out they have. I bought this as seen on tv solution and I've only used it just one or two times but it seems to actually work well. Slides out smoothly and fixes the exact problem I was having. Now I can just slide it out in the AM for coffee and push it back when I'm done. Truly a simple solution to a simple problem.

Needed something to keep from pulling/pushing/dragging my Vitamix base back and forth on the counter to use. Stumbled upon this elsewhere on the web and as usual, Amazon has the best price. Bought two, one for the Vitamix and one for the coffee maker to add water. Was concerned it might not be stable enough for the Vitamix, but it works like a champ. No wiggling, shifting, or jumping at all. Makes it so much easier to pull the base out from under the cabinet to use. And same thing on the Bunn My Cafe Pourover Commercial-Grade Pod Brewer (which we love--pods equal less trash than the Keurig K-cup thing). I hated having to add water to the thing simply because it was difficult (heavy, bulky) to pull away from the wall. Usually left it for hubby to do ;-) Not any more. One finger is all it takes to glide the little Handy Caddy out and in. Even hubby was impressed. What a find! And so inexpensive.

I got my first Handy Caddy on clearance for just a couple bucks at a local drug store during their remodeling sale. I liked it so much I bought 3 more from Amazon. Many other reviewers give specifics about size, etc. so I'll just give you my impressions and uses. I was initially disappointed with the cheapness of the plastic and the simplicity of the design, but it does what I want it to do, so I am satisfied. Uses: I use one under my heavy Vitamix. I will eventually use one under my heavy KitchenAid mixer too. I had nowhere to set up my convection oven except on a plastic four foot folding table where the washer and dryer used to be, in the kitchen. I needed to build a heat-resistant oven area. I put two of these side-by-side on the table, put a wooden board on top, put heat resistant station mats on the board, put a very large inverted cookie sheet on top of that, and placed the convection oven on top. The oven slides out nicely with no danger of tipping forward. Pros: I don't have to struggle with dragging heavy appliances forward on the counter. It does what it says it will do. Cons: It's two separate lightweight plastic pieces and they easily come apart if the appliance is not rolled gently. Also, they can be pushed askew easily. There was a huge learning curve with my big strong husband until I pulled the Caddy out from under the appliance and showed him how it was just cheap plastic in two separate pieces, sitting on top of each other, and if he yanked on it bad things would happen. Especially with the oven setup, where the two Caddys need to be lined up together under the board.

Easily pull out my keurig on my counter so no steam goes under my cupboards. Also makes it easy to fill water reservoir.

It’s very handy; I’m using it under a big Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer, so maybe too much weight for it to be fantastic, but it works well.

I’m beyond happy with this sliding shelf! Complete game changer! My partner no longer spills coffee grinds all over the place or drips water all over the counter.
