I heard about this product and looked it up on Amzaon because it's not supposed to have an unpleasant odor.** A: Mine did have like a paste like smell... but once applied I don't feel like it smelled like that once on my skin. after reading some comments I think I got the watery knock off version. Mine was very liquidy, I would recommend going to the ecotans website. **Q: how long does the tan last after discontinued use of the product?** A: unfortunately this product didn't work for me **Q: Can you apply this with a mitt?** A: I am sure you can! Stumbled across it about 6 months ago when I was looking for an Alternative to the spray tans I was paying $60 a month for for a membership. Little did I know his lotion would lead me to cancel that said membership shortly after. Not only is the price less, but a bottle lasts much longer than a month. It also LOOKS better than the spray tan I was receiving. Way more natural and never any streaking with it. Takes maybe two good days of applying and by the third you're golden brown. Also the ingredients stood out to me. Nothing fake or gross. I found out I was pregnant a few weeks after my first order of This and I can see good about this going on my skin. The smell usually keeps me up all night. Not to mention the huge orange blotches I usually wake up with. I am in love with this product. I had given up on tanning products because of the chemicals I was letting soak into my skin but Eco Tan is free of those nasty ingredients. It had a slight smell when I woke up but nothing like anything else I've tried. It was totally worth the money and my only complaint is that I didn't try it sooner. I was afraid the winter skin wouldn't show up but I noticed a beautiful tan after one application.
