Sony WH-XB900N Extra Bass Noise Cancelling Wireless Bluetooth Headphones with Mic, 30 Hours Battery Life and Quick Charge - Optimized For Google Assistant and Alexa – Blue

I've been on a long journey amongst wireless headphones to find a set that I actually love. With these Sony XB900's , I've finally arrived at my destination. Had the 1000' 3's before. Not very comfortable and the sound was too neutral for my ears to enjoy, even with adjustments to the app. Tried most budget wireless headphones : Bluedio, Mpow and even latest Edifier ( which are very good considering the price) However, the budget brands were exactly that. Cheap and not always cheerful. The XB900's are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. No pressure points on top of my receding head and no discomfort with the ear pads ( The 1000' 3's are not as big or as comfortable. Yes, I got a little sweat from the pads, but I got that from Denons lambs skin leather pads on the D7200 (Wired) anyway. The noise cancellation works perfect, drowning out almost everything. The ambient sound control also is a nice touch that works reasonably well too. With the Sony app, I've found the best setting for my personal tastes is the bright feature. This brings out the mids and highs in a very detailed manner whilst still giving me the solid, but not bloated bass that I like. Much better control over sound than the 1000'3's. Using Poweramp app on my phone, I've set my equalizer to a V shape which suits me fine. Side swipe/ up and down commands work spot on. Only gripe is that you don't get a case like the 1000'3's, but bought a second hand one (known auction site ;-) for the 1000'3's which incidentally, the XB900'S fit in perfectly, see photo. Don't know about battery life yet, but will update at a later stage. I must admit that I was dubious about the positive reviews from Vine freeloaders, but they are correct. Im a verified purchaser and if I wasn't happy, I'd let people know. I'm absolutely delighted with these and at last my journey is over, but the music begins!

I had to return the Jabra elite 85h within a few days of purchase, as usual hassle free returns with Amazon. On paper the Jabra was a better choice given that it has bluetooth 5.0 and multipoint connection. However the Jabra's were defective with a crackling sound off and on, one speaker not working intermittently, and Jabra support poor in communicating only through emails. The Jabra's did not produce good mid range and high's if you maxed out the bass, and vice-versa. The volume was poor as well. Hence on the sound front it was inadequate although the cloth outer texture was unique, and it had on ear detection. The Sony on the other hand may not have that good a texture, but it outperforms the Jabra on all fronts - comfort and sound. The bluetooth 4.2 does not make a difference. It supports LDAC if your phone does. The clear bass function allows you to increase the mids and highs on the equalizer, no distortion - Sony knows what it is doing. The DSEE enhances the low quality streams. They are lighter than the Jabra's, hence more comfortable with prolonged use. Noise cancellation at par with the Jabra, and very good for the price. If it is sound quality you are focussed on, then go for the Sony. The Sonys' are like a Japanese car! The delivery took longer than usual.

Noise cancelling does remove constant noise like washing machines, boiling kettles and fan ovens, anything with a constant drone, but traffic and speech, whilst noticeably quieter are still audible. Sound quality is great, some say too bassey, but with a bit of adjustment, you get a good balance and now I'm noticing bass lines that I've not properly heard before, like on queens of the stone ages in the fade being one example off the top of my head. Comfort wise, you could wear these forever and I often have a nap on the sofa whilst listening to music with no discomfort, but as mentioned by some, your ears can get warm in them. The swipe gestures are neat feature and the touching the right earphone with your palm to turn off noise cancelling and quieting the music feels pretty swish.

I think I’ll be sticking with this range from now onward. Great sound quality, very comfortable, good battery life. You either love or hate the hand gesture controls and I love them, they’re easy to remember, not sure why anyone would have problems. I also like the control to stop noise cancellation briefly if you’re speaking with someone. You just place 3 fingers over the right side, and noise cancellation stops until you take your fingers off. Very responsive and you really notice the difference. I recommend them.

I was concerned about spending this much on headphones but I'm happy to say that these are really good headphones. The battery life is very good and the sound quality is amazing. They are comfortable as are well padded. They don't totally cancel out noise, but don't want them to as daughter using walking to college. Very happy with the purchase.

Ses kalitesi çok iyi. Tizler ve vokaller mükemmel. Bas bir tık daha tok olabilirdi ama müthişe yakın. ANC (Aktif ses kesme) güzel, denediğim birçok kulaklıktan çok daha başarılı fakat sınıfının en üstü Sony WH 1000XM3 kadar iyi değil. Ortamınızdaki tüm seslerin geride kalıp, acaip dingin bir ortamda takılacağınızı düşünüyorsanız premium kulaklık seviyesinde en iyi olanları seçmeniz gerekir. Zira bu kulaklık arkadaki gürültü seslerini iptal ediyor fakat bağırışma, konuşma, tiz çıkan sesler (metal çarpışması sesi, kapı gıcırdaması vs.) gibi sesleri iptal etmeyecek, zaten bu gibi ortam seslerini farketmeniz için tasarlanmış. İndirilebilir APP sayesinde kendi ayarlarınızı ve cihazın kendine has otomatik ayar yapmasını sağlıyorsunuz ve rüya gibi çalışmaya başlıyor. Acaip uzun bir pil ömrü var, nezaman bitecek bunun pili ya? diye sorup duruyorsunuz. USB Type-C sayesinde de oldukça hızlı şarj oluyor. Kutusundan bez taşıma kılıfı da çıkıyor. Kulaklığın kötü özelliği yok ama iyileştirilebilir özellikleri bence şöyle: Kulaklığın padleri yaz sıcağında kulaklarınızı terletecek, APP ayarlaması yaptıktan sonra Adaptive Sound sizin durumunuzu algılayıp gürültü kesme miktarını çoğaltıp azaltıyor, bu sırada bir uyarı sesi çıkıyor ve müziğiniz kesiliyor, bu ses daha kısa ve öz olsa güzel olurdu, gereksiz uzun tutulmuş. Her kuruşun hakkını veren bir ürün. Çok pahalı premium kulaklık alamıyorsanız sakın bunu kaçırmayın. Görüntü ve ses elemanlarında Sony farkını bilen bilir. Yine yapmış adamlar...

I use the headset when I'm working for home or when I'm gaming, the battery lasts for days. I advise owners to tweak settings in the app to ensure connectivity and quality.
