Bought this to replace my Nero 9 that I've used forever, but that's been getting wonky. Didn't want a lot of bells and whistles or big price tag and this had okay reviews. Where to start. 1. Okay, not crazy about the interface, a little cluttered IMO 2. Doesn't seem to have the function of finding a file AND inserting it into project like Nero 9; you have to import it and then drag it in. 3. It apparently doesn't like mp4 video files which is what my dash-cam produces. I put together videos to post on YouTube and have had no problems with Nero 9. This version however does not recognize them as VIDEO and you get an mp4 AUDIO file when you import it and if you insert it, all you get is sound, no picture. So now I guess I'll have to first convert to an acceptable format before importing for use. Did a test and wmv files work once converted from mp4. 4. This is a BIG one: I keep getting a pop-up alert that I need to "upgrade" because a "feature" is not available on this version. The feature is supposedly "Ultra HD (4K) Playback". Huh, I'm not trying to playback anything. Initially saw this when simply trying to open an existing Nero nvc project. I would close the alert and then getting a spinning standby symbol for a long time; then sometimes it would lock up and I would have to kill it in Task Manager. Other times, if I waited long enough, the file would open. Later on, once the file was open and I was experimenting around, I would get this upgrade alert right in the middle of editing. Makes no sense other than to try to sell you an upgrade. Oh, and it crashes. A LOT. Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Intel i7/7th Gen 8gb RAM

I haven't used any media burning software in over 10 years, so I had some trepidation when installing & using this product. I had also recently upgraded my computer & OS to Windows 10, and everything worked well together. This software was easy to use, featured an easy learning curve, and has been very useful while making my own Blu-Ray discs. I would not hesitate to buy it again & recommend it for home/pleasure users.

this program fits all of my cd recording purposes. I would recommend for the novice to skilled

Doesn't include Nero Recode, which is the main reason I purchased it. You have to buy the Premier version but the description isn't clear on this.

All I have done so far with this software is make audio CDs out of mp3s. For that task the software is terrific. I am running Windows 10.

Easy to use, used it to create a history video from photos with music.

Great for recoding from windows picures to burn . Good quality!

Works as expected.
