NOW Supplements, PABA (Para-Aminobenzoic Acid) 500 mg, B-Complex Family, 100 Capsules

Oddly, this is the best PABA and most effective we've ever found. It's great for stress and wonderful for hair because it can help restore your color if gray appears (mainly from stress!) I've seen people get gray hair from stress in a day, and take PABA and have it disappear in 2 or 3 days. Adelle Davis says that research showed you could take thousands of milligrams (mg) of PABA without adverse effects. With all the stress in the world today, PABA, which is a B vitamin, gets eaten up in the body pretty fast and needs to be replenished. The price of this one is fair, and the product works. These are capsules. It seems that tablets from other companies weren't really effective, but PABA capsules from NOW did work well.

About 40 years ago I got on a kick of reading up on vitamins. I don't know how I figured this out, but I realized if you took about 800 d- alpha tocopheral of vitamin E and about 1000mg of PABA, you would have the following results. Your hair did not turn gray. Supposedly it could reverse that process to some degree. You would be taking internally skin protectant and not sunburn or wrinkle very much, if at all. ALL OF IT TRUE. I'm a light skinned blonde who never tanned. I tan a beautiful color now. LET me change that- when I was younger I did and up until about 3 years ago it was ALL still true. I was 65. I was 28 when I started this. All I ever did was burn and peel. I never laid out for that purpose I did it bc I lived in Southern California and thats just what you did. i worked on the ramp for the airlines in the sun and was always just red faced. I started tanning the most beautiful color. No more sunburn and peel. My hair became a beautiful goldish white. I look at pictures back then and can't believe it's me. NOW i'm 68. my whole family was mostly or totally grey by their 40's. I have like 5-7 grey hairs and it's probably just bc I got very extended sick. And grey hair wasn't my first concern at the time and so I wasn't taking them for at least a year. So if nothing else, I'm not sure if it reversed anything, but I've definitely stopped the process of greying again. The REALLY fascinating part of this is a few years later i was reading a book of my sister's about the winners of Nobel Prizesand their winning projects. A couple of people had discovered the grey hair thing. They completely missed the nonwrinkle aspect of it and the no more sunburning and total tanning protection of the PABA. I take it as a combo, for the grey hair also, so I don't know if you need the vit E for the tanning or not. I do know the PABA begins working on the tanning aspect pretty quickly. I never expected that result. I don't know how long it was, but no more than a couple months I don't think before I laid out by the pool. You can imagine how thrilled i was to have brown tan lines that evening instead of burning red skin! The vit E has to be helpful in maintaining the softness of your skin for nonwrinkling. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND at least the PABA, but more the combo. It's not just my experience- It's a Nobel Prize winner!

Easy to swallow. Nice bottle. I haven't noticed any difference in health, but I'm not sick :0)

I bought this for my hairs to be black , but i notice that it is less effective :(

I was consulting my medical astrology book, that has been more useful than my doctor for the past few years, and I read that people with a hard aspect of Venus and Saturn tend to be low in PABA. (Venus being beauty and Saturn ruling aging). I did a quick google search on PABA, and when I learned that it could help my prematurely gray hair, I thought I’d try it. The price of this one was so good, that if it ended up being useless, it wasn’t a big loss. I took it for a few days and didn’t think anything of it. Until I took it before bed one night...and I was tossing and turning. Eventually I had to drug myself to sleep. The next day I remembered seeing a review on here about someone who couldn’t sleep after taking it. I was like “wow, so this is actually doing something!” I now take it in the mornings. I have great energy during the day, and no problems sleeping at night. That alone would be a good enough reason to take it. Then I began to notice that even with our dry Santa Ana winds, which always make my skin dry and peeling, my skin is smooth and hydrated. Like it wasn’t this way a month ago. And I’m now at the point where my gray hair regrowth begins popping up, and I would say there is 50% less. I’m going to keep on taking it and hopefully see my hair go back to black. PABA has been so worth it!

日焼けしやすく、戻りにくいのが悩みでした。3ヶ月頃から効き目が出てくるということで、確かその年の春頃から飲み始めました。体感ですが、その夏は日焼けしにくかったと思います。夏場は洗濯物を干すのでさえ日焼け止めを塗らないと一貫の終わり、室内でも毎朝日焼け止めを塗って過ごしてましたが、今年は長期のお出かけ以外は塗らなくても案外焼けませんでした。日焼け止め高いし、敏感肌なので肌の負担が経って助かってます。

I was feeling low in energy and had skin dry issues. I was recommended by the doctor to take PABA, even though there are multiple options available for the same treatment but PABA is considered a better choice. I decided to order online and see how It goes. I have noticed a few things. 1-Taking at night will not help you sleep, you may feel uncomfortable and sleeplessness 2-Taking in the morning will make you feel energetic and feeling of good mood will calm you 3-There is still not much effect on my skin but I am still hoping after a month or more to reflect I am taking one dose per day and I believe it is enough
