Really like the curve design. Makes buffing nails much easier. Does a good job. Got my nails looking like shiny glass. Not too sure about the longevity though. I've seen a down tick in effectiveness as I use it more in the stage 4 of buffing. The first two stages are still very strong. I'd probably just buy the individual stages separately. For convenience or traveling these are fabulous!

I bought these because they’re the closest I could find to the ones I used to get at Walmart. I wish all the surfaces were curved instead of just the two. Other than that they work well.

The harder surface and the curved shape make this work so much better than standard foam blocks.

If you try this buffer after having only ever using a bargain basement option from the local big box or drugstore, you’ll likely be like me and oooh and ahhh to see your nail bed shining like a mirror. It’s pretty comfy to hold, fairly ergonomic, but it wears out too quickly. The day I initially purchased it, the price was affordable—especially after comparing it to the super duper cheapie ones. But as it was showing signs of wear after 3-4 uses, I returned to pick up another two-pack and was shocked to see how much it had gone up. I like it for what is at the price it rightfully would be valued, but because of the fluctuation, understand you can flirt with a pro version for not much more moolah. Most troubling is Side #1, the grit you use to actually file/shape your nail. The other 3 sides can be used for any natural nail, but if you have thin, brittle, or just delicate nails, the grit is far too coarse; I really messed up my tips and might as well have gone to the garage and grabbed hubby’s sandpaper. So as I only need 3 sides of this thing, I’m back to the drawing board. I thought because I use the correct technique to file, a la any emery board (never sawing back and forth, only gently going one direction, I’d not have encountered any problems). I was wrong.

I was looking for nail care products to improve the health and appearance of my nails, with or without nail lacquer. This product really delivers! It has the steps numbered right on it: 1 shape 2 grind 3 smooth 4 polish! The result is beautiful, healthy nails! Simple to use and affordable!
