**Q: What color wiuld be better on brass?**
A: I LIKE RED ON BRASS

**Q: Is it good for valve jobs**
A: If you want to use it to check the valve seal after lapping then no, I would not use it. I personally don’t use anything. You can see the contact areas without any marking paste. However, if you want to use a marking paste I would very sparingly use Dykem hi spot marker or Permatex Prussian Blue.

**Q: So if I dipped twist bits in this would the dye hold up in the flutes ?  I'm only using the bits in wood.  Other thoughts to dye twist bits ?**
A: It might hold up for a little while but I doubt it would last for very long.

**Q: is this the same as the blue just a different color or are they made for different applications? also are they ok for stainless steel ? will it com**
A: The blue and red are the same, just different colors. I have never had a problem using them on stainless. It is easily removed with acetone.
