how long are the bits, including the part that goes into the drill chuck?

The bits are about 6inches long. As far as the chuck, that depends on the drill you are using. Its a 1/4in hex head. Even though there is specs lacking details about these tools, you can however go to dewalts website and enter in what you are looking on amazon.
