How long does the battery last?

I find that I need to change the batteries once during a growing season so they last for about 3-4 months.

I have set my timer for the morning, on both. But I was wondering if you can have 2 watering times per side in 1 day?

Where can i get alternative electrical connection, a transformer plug connection

i don't think there is one but the 2 AA batteries last for about 3- 4 months probable having a transformer plugged in would use more power.
