Full-length steel tangs. Ideal for game and fish preparation. *by M***Y on 8 January 2021* Having bought and destroyed what feels like hundreds of scissors, I have finally found these. The steel tangs run the full length of the handles through the plastic. This means that when I am preparing game or cutting off fish fins I am not going to snap the handles. The blades themselves are so sharp I didn't need a separate knife to slice up through the belly of the last fish I gutted... and the scissor action is brilliant... even sublime. The fish scaler is a nice touch. Very sturdy and resiliant. The fact that they dissemble for cleaning was a really good idea.Design is clever and they very well made. Delivery very prompt. This was my best purchase on Amazon in at least 5 years!! Very happy...
