sed this Mounting Dream wall mount to hang a TV in my garage, and it worked great. The mount feels really solid and held my 55” TV with no problem. It sits nice and close to the wall, which gives it a clean, low-profile look. Installation was simple with the included hardware and instructions, and the built-in level helped a lot. Just make sure to mount it into the studs or concrete as recommended. Great quality and value for the price—highly recommend for anyone looking for a strong, no-fuss TV mount!

I like to write negative reviews because I am a geezer crumudgeon. Unfortunately there's not much bad about this product to write about, sigh. So, against my foul nature this here is a positive review. This is our fourth purchase of this product (let's don't get inito how many tv's there are around this place) and I likes it fine. It is easy to install, comes with all the parts you will ever need and even comes with a little cheapy level. Goes up in about 15 minutes and thanks to its clip attachment mechanisim comes off without a struglle. Once up, you can slide the tv left and right a bit to get the perfect fit. One thing it doesn't do very well is tilt up or down. You can correct this a little by using shims and extra washers. If you need a mount that tilts down, this here one ain't for you.In summary, this here mount is geezer approved.

Simple no nonsense wall mount, worked perfectly to mount my flat screen TV

Good sturdy mount for our 60” Vizio. It’s highly adjustable. And the detaching quick clips come in handy. Installation did take awhile. 3.5 hours to be exact. But a lot of that was having to figure it out with sparse directions (more pictures/ less words). There is about 1/4” of play or more in the mount. So if you want your tv perfectly straight, keep that in mind.

This mount worked perfectly for me! I as able to install in a few hours including time to wire a power outlet and cable jack behind the mount.A few things to note:1. The listing mentions studs on 8" or 16" centers but does not mention compatibility about anything in between. I was mounting on a load bearing wall in my basement where the studs are on 12" centers. I assumed based on the images it would work and it did. If I had my way, the listing would say 8" to 16" instead of 8" or 16".2. The opening in the frame is just tall enough for a medium sized outlet cover plate. I was able to wire the outlet behind the TV for a very clean looking installation.3. One of the reviews I read mentioned that the mount can slide from side to side on the rails of the frame. I second that comment but I was able to find a solution. The lip and sides of the top rail of the frame create a sort of tray on either side of the vertical TV brackets. I just cut two small pieces of wood to lay in that tray, one on either side of the TV, and keep it from sliding. Mine was centered but if you wanted the TV to be off center you could just cut the two pieces to different lenghts. It is completely behind the TV so you don't have to worry about it being invisible.4. Mounting Dream had great customer service! I emailed about whether the inputs on the back of my TV would work and they responded very quickly with comfirmation that everything would work. They were right.Overall, this mount is a great product and you certainly can't beat the price!

I know what you are thinking. Best value on a simple little mount. How? I have purchased abotu 10 mounts in my life. From pricey $100 mounts at retail stores to cheapo $30 mounts on amazon.Every single one of these mounts seemed like too much for the item. On all of my mounts the metal is cheap with the paint flaking off during installation. The screws feel cheap. The included level is usually a garbage piece of plastic that you just throw away. Marking the right measurement is normally difficult..moving parts feel forced and not very smooth. I always end up saying ugh why are these so expensive.Enter this Mounting Dream kit. It looks solid. It feels solid. It included everything you need and the included hardware is solid. It was super easy to measure for and mount. Even the included little cheapo level seemed well thought out as it is super lightweight, magnetic, and so small it never moved around or fell. I installed a 50" t.v. in a matter of 30 minutes with an impact drill and stud finder.What makes this mount stand out is the brilliant design. It slides left and right about 7 inches leaving room for error. The little straps at the bottom are brilliant, when placing the actual t.v. on the mounted bracket you it literally was as easy as setting it and forgetting it.Even the simple idea of having the logo printed on the frame means you don't even have to ask yourself if it's upside down. Seriously, such a simple yet brilliant design idea.Buy this mount. It doesn't tilt, it doesn't move, it doesn't look fancy..it is just a simple mount that does it's job well. And it was less than the taxes I paid for when purchasing my t.v.!

(READ BELOW FOR UPDATE!)Installation was pretty uneventful. Instructions were precise and package provides for every mounting possibility. Came different sized screws and spacers which was impressive. Also came with a magnetic level, but I ended up using a my larger (reliable) level. Once bracket was mounted, got tv up in the wall in no time. For the price, a really sweet deal. Now the reason I knocked off two stars, wall mount piece in picture was different from what I received. Mine only had 4 screwholes on each edge and 4 adjustable screwholes towards the middle. With the way my studs are located I had to move the mount 3 inches from the center since the edge screw holes are not adjustable, they're just holes on each edge. I'm thinking it's an older version I received. Yes I know there are several remedies to fix that shortcoming, like mounting a piece of plywood to the studs then attaching the mount to the plywood.In the end, took me about half hour with all the measuring and adjusting I had to do to accommodate this product's shortcoming. Would have been much easier I received the unit pictured instead. But once installed, tv was pretty solid with very minimal wobbling. Decided to mount my kids tv as well, but will look to purchase something else.UPDATE: I was contacted by Mounting Dream after posting this review and I gotta say they've provided the best service recovery I've ever seen. They now have my loyalty for sure! They were very nice in offering an explanation and offered to replace the said bracket. I explained to them there's no more need since I mounted it already. Never been more impressed by a seller trying to make things right. I totally appreciate sellers I'll definitely recommend Mounting Dream to everyone I know!

This item came very well packaged. everything is individually wrapped and nothing shifted inside the product packaging. The product includes everything except the velcro strap that is in the pictures. It included all the hardware for mounting which surprised me because it was not mentioned. It includes 3 sizes of bolts, M5, M6, and M8 for different TV configurations. There is also included spacers in-case the TV is not flat. There's also included instructions on how to set and install with plenty of details. Very strong and well attached to the wall, I could probably rip off the TV before this mount comes off. On smaller mounting configurations, you could slide the TV back and forth to fine tune the horizontal position. I did not have the studs perfectly aligned behind the wall so this was very useful. The only issue I ran into was properly drilling into the wall and screwing in the mounting bracket. My drill bits were not long enough and there was brick behind the drywall. The incredible torque required to bolt this stripped out a screw using a phillips bit on the drill. I read the instructions a bit more and changed to a hex socket bit and my drill started smoking. I did manage to get it into place and found that the included level is pretty accurate but may vary.

So when you spend this little on a product your expectations are not the highest. I knew my TV had a 400x400 mount and that it would fit but that this was also the max.So I got out my stud finder, picked the studs I was going to used and got to work. First off, the instructions were decent. I mean, it is pretty obvious, drill 4 pilot holes and lag em in but it is nice that if someone has no skills they can use this. It also tells you everything down to the screw size.It came with a very small level but I used my own for marking the studs which I recommend as the one they included was tiny.I really like how the rails clip on to the mount and are quite secure. I honestly feel like I could hang off of this thing which is good because my 50 inch plasma is heavy.Now the cons.Even with the spacers, this thing is pretty close to the wall. If you have side ports on your TV or a recessed cable area you are OK. When I have the VGA port from my computer in it wont lock into the mount on one of the rails. You could cut a small hole in the wall but just keep in mind if your cables stick out far it's going to be tough. You also have to remove the TV from the mount every time you change a cable, so get it ready with the cables in the back BEFORE you mount it to the wall. I put an extra HDMI cable in there and cable tied it in an area I can pull it down when I need it to not have to remove it later. (it is pretty easy to remove, pull the straps and lift.Over all I give it 5 stars. You cant beat the price and it is secure. Just make sure you are aware how close to the wall it is. You could make your own spacer and go to a hardware store and get 4 longer machine screws for your TV if you were so inclined. A 1/2 inch would make a big difference for your cables.

Pros:- Nice and tight to the wall, but enough room to stick a Raspberry Pi back there- The 'locks' are nice; it will only come off if you pull down the two straps- Wide enough to easily span across two studs- TV mounts are narrower than the wall bracket, so you can slide the TV left and right to align it exactly where you want after installation- Packaging was very light and minimal- Clear instructions; included more than enough extra fasteners and spacers (it fit a heavier 10-year old Sony TV like a charm)- Awesome priceCons:- No tilting, but that's pretty clear in the description (and price point)
