I have used a few times and it works great and dumps very quickly. I chose to toss the quick connect fitting and go with a 1" PVC Discharge hose I picked up from HF. This pump fills that hose under pressure and is there most efficient use of the pump and reduces the backpressure and wear on the pump. It's not as convenient as the QD and garden hose but is definitely better. I have intended to run a line from the battery but have used it with a heavy duty jump box that I have to jump start my diesel pickup. I built a PVC reducer that screws into the cleaning and the discharge hose screws into it. It's a secure and clean solution. I was considering a top of the line "run dry Marine" pump but as cheap as this one is, when it dies I will just buy another one.
