i love Richard Paul Even's books! This was captivating!

I really enjoyed the easy and relaxing reading of this series. There was just enough suspense to keep the reader's interest. I loved the diverse characters in the story and the way the author used real life experiences to bring the characters to life. It was wonderful how the characters' stories added view points and wisdom to Alan's meditations and healing. I also loved how the author emphasised that service to others helps us heal when we need it the most. I recommend this series to everyone that is going through heartbreaking and tough times.

It was one of those books that I could not put down without going on to the next one to see where hiis walk was leading him. More importantly, his "walk" was giving me a lot of food for thought about my own life and my own walk through it. Thanks for another captivating, heartwarming and thought provoking set of books. I have recommended it to several friends.

After reading the forgotten road series that I loved so much I had to read the walk series. I have grown to enjoy reading more than watching television and I think I will become an avid reader from now on. I gave the series a five star rating because it kept me Captivated all the way through. I think I am an RPE fan.

Read all the reviews of all the walk series and loved it. After I received all the books and started reading it I could not stop. I could follow the states the cities on the map which was so interesting. It was writing so well I could picture all the people in my mind. It was fun , sad , loving you never new what happen next.

An outstanding series by an author I've grown to appreciate more with each book.. Richard Paul Evans continues to develop characters that are so believable that you can actually feel their joy and pain. You are drawn into the character's life in such a way that you are forced to confront your own demons. I laughed, I cried. And then I reread the whole series!

This series was a pleasant and comfortable read. I was sad to end it, but found myself rushing to read the last words. It's strange how so many parts touched my own heart and to learn that there are many who have felt like me.

A wonderful journey with Alan. I recommend it to everyone. I had so many emotions reading the book and could hardly put it down. I'm glad I was able to order the whole box set and not have to wait for the next installment in the series.

Just started reading it, but I like his books anyway. My niece got me hooked on his books. My favourite is the Christmas Box.
