can I use this product in my Bissell rug cleaner?

Hey Paul, yes you can use it in a carpet cleaner machine HOWEVER... It wasn't designed to be used in carpet cleaner so there is some special steps you need to take. A) You MUST allow MPP'd to sit and work for a few hour; DO NOT IMMEDIATELY SUCTION IT BACK UP. So if your carpet cleaner allows you to apply solution with the suction off, that is the way to do it; Suction off. If your cleaner sucks up immediately, MPP'd won't have time to work. B) if you do use MPP'd in a machine: DO NOT DILUTE. USE IT STRAIGHT. With that being said, most people use MPP'd to spot treat areas, then come with a carpet cleaner with a hot water rinse cycle 4-6 hours later if need be. LASTLY, after applying MPP'd with a machine, you really DO NOT need to even suction it up at all. MPP'd will break down into pure H2O and Oxygen withing a few hours and any bacteria is extracted and vaporized in the process. Hope that helps. -Jarrett
