Excellent product.

If you have problems with a normal oil plug in any car due to worn out treads or oil leaking from the tank, this is the tool for you. You don’t need anymore bolts and it stops the leak. I installed it in my 2005 Odyssey. I ordered more just to have them on standby for my other cars. 5 stars!

Works perfect for the new plastic F150 oil pans. Had my plastic oil pan tabs break off and this works perfect a permanent replacement so I don't have to replace with a whole new pan. They (Ford) don't make things like they used to and is frustrating they can't even make a metal oil pan.

Price was cheap and it was very easy to put in. The threads were stripped on my 2004 Pontiac vibe oil pan and it was easier than trying to re tap the drain plug hole.

This is a late review, i did an oil change back in 2020 and realized the bolt was striped, didnt know what to do at the time and i forgot how i came across using this little device but three and a half years later, still working as it should, and i believe the price was under $10 bucks back then. im just going through the things i bought throughtout the years and i need to give this little thing the praise it deserved. get it, it works!

It seems like the purpose of this plug is to save me from having to replace the entire oil pan for $1200.00 on my car, with the heavy install costs. My plug threads are shot. We tried cleaning them up and reinstalling different sized plugs, but it has not worked. This plug is universal. It should fir on any oil pan. The only thing about it is that it is intended to be permanent. In other words, you don't want to unscrew it too often to replace the oil. The rubber stopper that keeps the seal will not last, if you do, and you'll likely start leaking oil. It's been a great fix so far. Even if I have to reinstall a new one every time I change the oil, it's a better fix for me than a full replacement of the pan. :)

Fits 2001 honda accord, easy installation. Didn’t totally stop the leak. Like the other buyer reviews, slow down the oil leak on stripped oil pan plug. Still drip oil a little bit. I’m worry about tightening it too much cuz it can break the part inside the pan. I guess i can deal with a bit oil drip for now until i found the right plug.

This universal plug is easy to install, stays tight, and has not leaked any oil from my car. The yahoos at walmart auto center stripped the threads on my oil pan, and then I was quoted $300 to install a new oil pan! This plug saved me from that expense, and now I’m even changing my own oil for the first time, and its so easy, and I’m saving even more money!
