I am visually impaired and can't see most dice because they are are too small and don't have enough contrast. I purchased these in the black with the white numbers and I can actually see them!! I am new to playing D&D and these dice have helped make things easier for me. I started playing with borrowed dice that I couldn't read and I had to have the other players tell me what I rolled.
