Ultimately a good foundational clock for mindsports. *by C***R on Reviewed in the United States on March 6, 2020* I bought several of these on behalf of the United States Othello Association (USOA). I was especially drawn to the black/green color scheme, as it marries well, aesthetically, with a standard Othello board for tournament play. Love the touch-sensitive buttons, which are less intrusive than analog or digital clocks (less of the distinctive "thwack" sound, familiar to anyone who's participated in a chess or Othello tournament). As an Othello teacher, I also liked being able to stop the clock during "coached" games, where a student may ask a question without draining their time. Admittedly this was intuitive on my part; people less familiar with using game clocks may find this slightly tricky to figure out.I think the one thing I am still sorting out is how to configure additional time settings on the clock. Thankfully, one of the default settings is 25:00/side, which happens to be a standard time increment for Othello games for individual rounds. I would like to be able to figure out if this can be reconfigured to 30:00/side or more (for Final Games). I am not saying this can't be done, but I am also a little confused by the instructions provided so far.I am guessing this may be a minor complaint. The design is modern, and a great combination of lightweight and relative sturdiness. Of the 5-6 clocks I've used/tested so far, I have had no issues with them. ### ⭐ Very poor quality product. *by J***S on Reviewed in the United States on November 15, 2019* Product never worked. Time would not count down after being set. Very confusing to set, so I didn’t send this back until I had a friend who is good with these try to set it and he confirmed it was not working.
