Little Tikes 2-in-1 Snug & Secure Swing , Blue

We found this swing at a friends house whose child was turning 2 years old. Our son is 15 months... and wanted to get in after seeing his little buddy swinging in it. The first time he was in it and swinging you can see his instant joy! He just loved being in it! He loved it so much that he stayed in the swing until he fell asleep. So naturally we bought one from Amazon for our home. Design: The toy is well designed and very sturdy. Very safe from what I can tell. The swing "cups" the entire body of the baby so there is no danger of the baby falling out. I would care for this product like any other... take it down when not in use.... preferably storing inside, away from UV rays and other outdoor environmental conditions. That way your baby can have a long lasting and safer swing in the long run. Installation: I would highly suggest having a capable handy man secure the swing with the correct mounting hardware. The swing comes with heavy duty rope and hooks. What our friends did was buy two heavy duty eye rings and screwed them into the awning of their patio. They added some of the same style rope as what came with the swing to allow the swing to be hung about 12"-16" off the ground. The swing hung that low allowed the swing to have a very long swing pattern that was very smooth. The shorter the rope is the shorter the swing pattern will be.... so if the swing is too short then the swinging motion back and forth is very quick. Adding length allows for a deeper swing pattern and smoother ride for the baby. I think that the swing is very soothing and calming for the baby... which is another benefit of this swing. Other thoughts: This toy helps contain a baby in one spot which is helpful from time to time. All in all this is a "home run" purchase for us! We just enjoy watching our toddler smile ear to ear while riding i this fun and safe swing! Feel free to ask any questions!

We bought a metal swing-set for our three grandchildren in another state but the smallest two, twins just turning one, were too small for the things offered on it. I did some research, and decided the Little Tikes 2-in-1 swing was the best option, since it can be used for both younger babies (9 months) up to children 4 years old. Amazon had the best price, and they could be shipped directly to their house. When we got there for the twins birthday, we set the swing-set up, replacing two traditional swings with the Little Tikes swings. They were all together, ready to be hung (no assembly required was really a plus after putting together the metal swing-set!). Our 2-1/2 year old granddaughter had a ball in the Little Tikes swing so I know that this product will be used for years to come. When we put the twins in the Little Tikes swings, you could tell they loved them! Both boys were squealing with delight! Music to a grandma's ears! I like that the front T-bar can be flipped over and snapped to the bottom of the swing to keep it out of the way for older children. A word of caution: even though we had the T-bar harness tightened down quite tight, both boys figured out how to get one arm out of the harness. They still sat nicely in the swing, and I don't think they could or would climb out, but this is definitely a product that needs adult supervision at all times. Also, it can be a little tricky taking a baby out that has fallen asleep, but that may be because I'm the grandma, not the experienced mommy! I've seen this same swing in action at our neighbor's house for at least the last 2 years, so I know it will hold up. All in all, this swing is great, and I would highly recommend it.

My young grandchildren enjoyed this swing, hours of fun, for a long time! It never wore out, nor broke. When they were too big to pull the shoulder harness over them, it easily moved so they could use it still! I highly recommend this swing for young children! We gave this swing away after it was outgrown! I'm sure it was still enjoyed for a long time!!

We bought this to hang from a Gorilla Gym unit to use as an indoor swing for our son (We purchased clamps from the local hardware store to attach it to the bottom of the pull up bar), who needs daily swinging and spinning as part of his therapy protocols for his sensory challenges. We love this thing and can not say enough good things about it. It's held up well, and it's been a life saver, because where we live, you can't swing outside all year round at all times of day, and we've needed to be able to have access to a swing at any time of the day or night, because we also help use it to calm him down when he becomes so overwhelmed or overstimulated he's having trouble regulating himself. And I think use of this was instrumental in helping him find a different way to cope that did not involve trying to smash his head in the wall, because we really only started to make serious headway on that battle when we got this thing. So I think this is a product that has great potential benefits for kiddos with more specialized needs. We also love that this is a bucket swing, because even though our kiddo is a preschooler, up until recently, he didn't have the core muscle strength to be able to use a traditional swing. And he loves it, absolutely loves it. It's one of the few things he genuinely feels noticeably joyful about. We definitely have no problems recommending this product.

We bought this swing to put on our swing set for our 10 month old. He fits in it perfectly (he weighs about 25 lbs) and his 3 year old brother fits in it as well (but he is big enough for the regular swings). The swing is the perfect height for a premade swing set. At first I thought it was a little high, but then I figured out that it's high so that parents don't have to lean down to push. I'm 5' 7" and it's a great height for me. But if you are trying to hang it from a tree, you will probably need extra rope. It swings level on the swingset. The only thing I have noticed is the slouching problem, but it's not that bad with our son, just a little slouching. He doesn't find it uncomfortable (in fact he has fallen asleep in it 2 times in 3 days). A GREAT feature of this one is that the front plate swings underneath and snaps there for when you don't want to use it anymore! I have so many things that I have to search for pieces for when I need it for another child...I just love self contained baby items! There are no problems getting him in and out of this one when he is awake or sleeping as the front plate swings out of the way.

very durable and easy to set up. My granddaughter is 9 months and 19 pounds. she fits fine except she will start to slide over to the side after a short time. Bothers me more than it seems to bother her. Haven't tried to fix it with a towel because I keep forgetting to bring it with me when we go outside. It is very safe with the way the plastic front secures her in the seat. Love it and she does too. Dont buy through the company Bargain Market that sold this through Amazon. Seat was on sale for $19 but they charged me $25. to ship it. A complete rip off and I contacted them twice via email and they never returned my contact. No Customer Service there at all. Not Amazon's fault but I let them know and everyone else. It is a Great product but watch who you purchase from. Thought I was saving money not driving to the store. Do NOT PURCHASE anything from the BARGAIN MARKET.

We are super pleased with this swing. We hung it from our patio cover and our baby giggles and smiles while she swings and we sip our tea. It hangs at a nice height for us to push her and and make eye contact. The length of the ropes is plenty suffiencient for her to swing high enough. When baby grows into a toddler I think we will probably want to add some ripe or chain to extend the length lower to the ground, both so that she can swing more on her own and swing bigger. Some reviewers complain about the straps being difficult to release, but I neither me, my husband, so my older children find them difficult at all. If they were any easier one might worry that they would come out on their own. As they are I think they just right. They are designed in such a way that baby can't reach them and release herself. This is one of those toys that are such a great value. Unlike some overpriced electronic monstrosity that eats batteries, breaks easily, and children tire of all too soon, this classic will give countless hours of pleasure and would last through multiple children. Highly recommended.

This slide is everything advertised. Sturdy, does not tip. Adjustable and it's all put together already! I added enough rope to bring it down closer to the ground. But if you do this, make sure you know your knots and use a strong enough rope. I use Larkshead knots. The straightness of the chair is directly dependent on the length of these ropes. If your comes out of the box a little crooked, then add a two short ropes so you can adjust the lengths and balance the chair. Mine was straight, coming out of the box. The harness clips were strong and easy to unlock, but safe and impossible for the child to unlock. Over all, this chair is perfect! No complaints.

I had the portable stand already so I decided to purchase this swing for my almost 2 year old. It was a last minute purchase for Christmas and I didn’t think much of it but my 2 year old absolutely loved the swing. It comes with a red bar that snaps on to secure your young ones. The red bar can be taken off for older kids. My 5 year old nephew uses it as well without any issue. It will definitely grow with your child. The yellow string that the swing attaches to is extremely sturdy and holds very tight. I made a knot at the top to bring up the swing to a higher level and have had no issues. Extremely satisfied with this purchase and recommend parents to spoil your toddlers with this inexpensive yet amazing gift. It keeps your toddler occupied and amazing for winter time when playing outside on the swing isn’t always an option. 10/10!

Great swing for baby/toddler and can be used until around 4 yrs I think. Easily clipped onto our existing swing attachments. Son loves it.
