Yes a lot of them ripped upon opening so do that carefully. I opened them all myself slowly to get rid of the ones with rips. They were fine no one really used them or took one home I ended up throwing them away. They are very pretty though. They were not moldy like someone else said but the wood on the handle is almost damp like it’s new wood. It wasn’t mold though, just the color of the wood.
