I needed to replace my old Creative Zen which cost around £100 12 years ago. But it is so hard to get a good mp3 player these days. I've searched everywhere and even had a few from Amazon which I sent back as unsuitable.But this seemed to tick all the boxes. Especially as I didn't want a touch screen one. The buttons are on the front of the gadget and are just touch sensitive. The sound is excellent... very loud when connected to bluetooth speakers, Connection with all my devices has been simple except my Nissan car as Nissan Connect needs you to put in a code to the machine, but I just connect via aux cable so I can still connect phone via bluetooth for calls. Navigation around the menu.is so simple and it has a shuffle function too. I would say this is the best budget MP3 player on the market and probably as good as £50 models. Easily set up with date, and time and intuitive to run through interface, Once charged fully, I plugged USB cable into my MacBook Pro. Problem was, things became difficult as it intermittently refused to show itself on the screen or finder. I made the connection as advised...connecting with the MP3 off and wait 3 seconds. Sometimes it worked, showed an icon on the screen and its presence on Finder. Then I dowloaded loads of music with no problem. When it's all going like that, it is brilliant. A few times it would disappear again and computer would tell me tell me I had disconnected improperly, So annoying! Sorry to seem to harp on about this but it is such a shame that this happens when it is such a great little player, great screen and very good sound. I can't see where I would get support for this. If it's just me or my laptop,I need to know. Nice for the pocket in a standard sleek black casing which feels slightly rubberised. The display is very old school as I put it, and doesn't give a good view from angles other than full on. There are plenty of features available, some I think are possibly pointless like the ebook reader. Two good points are the Bluetooth for using an external speaker and the back has a built in speakers which although basic, gives you the opportunity to listen without headphones.
