It faded in one summer and it was parked under a carport. Straps tore off on the first road trip. Just replaced the bungee strap inside the edge. So if you want a dust cover or to keep the kids or pets out its great. Otherwise, spend more for a trailer able cover. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Nice cover but be careful picking your size. *by K***Y on Reviewed in the United States on July 25, 2016* Received the cover about a week ago. I purchased it to replace an old cover I had that was becoming tattered. The boat is a 19' Wellcraft bowrider, I/O, with bowrails. The cover seems to be a decent quality for the price with a nice material weight...not so light that I fear it won't last or so heavy it's difficult to handle. The elastic band around the bottom makes it easier to put on than my old cover which had none. One feature that surprised and pleased me is a strap at the center of the bow which allows you to tighten it down using the bow/tow eye. I was also surprised to see that all the straps are permanently sewn into the cover. Not sure how this works for others since I keep the boat on a jet dock in season and rarely trailer it any distance. The boat is garage stored in the off season so I expect many years of service from the cover.Now a few concerns. As others said, trash the support pole that comes with it. I use 1 1/2" PVC pipe for support poles. Also, be sure to use some sort of material to cushion pressure points like the top of support poles and windshield corners. If you have any old, cheap orange PFDs you can slice one open and use the Styrofoam pieces inside for cushioning as they work nicely. Finally, and most importantly, some thoughts on size. Since I have a 19' boat I purchased the size for a 17-19' boat. If you have a boat without bowrails the size advertised should work nicely. If you have a boat with bowrails (just about any bowrider will have bowrails) and you are right on the edge of the advertised LOA limits I would suggest going up one more size. The fit on mine just barely makes it because of the bowrails and takes some work to get it properly tied down. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Fits well, stays on....but definitely not waterproof. *by T***. on Reviewed in the United States on September 18, 2012* I have a 1999 Monterey 180 (18.3 ft) boat that is stored between uses on my traileroutside.This cover fits nicely, straps and hardware work well. Can't comment on if it stayson when trailering because I don't do it.But it definitely isn't waterproof.Even the slightest rain and the inside of the cover is damp. On heavier rainsI have had to take the cover off and dry the interior in the sun w/ fans becauseotherwise it would mold.Another problem with water is the vents on the rear corners. Heavy rain and/or rain from therear goes right in the vents into the boat.I have poles and straps to keep it from pooling up on top but pools don't seem to be the problemas I have never seen one.I am going to try the modern equivalent to scotch guard and see if it helps.############################################################################################################################################################################################EDIT: 8 months later and I am not impressed with this cover.I 303'ed (using their fabric protector) the crud out of this thing and it FINALLY repelledwater....for about 4-5 months.....it is once again damp under the cover every time it rains.It spent most of the winter covered by a reflective tarp so it has really seen 2-3 monthsof sun at this point.A few months ago it started to turn purple.....so much so that at the local boat yard (whereit was getting some work done) they actually pointed my boat out in the parking lot forme to hook up to it as "There is yours with the purple cover right there".############################################################################################################################################################################################EDIT: 1.5 Years after purchase. Cover is junk. Has holes in it due to sun damage. It spent1 summer exposed and 2 winters under a reflective tarp and it has completely changed from greyto purple.
