I had a electrician install mine and he didn't have any trouble putting it together or hanging it. The light is bright but I actually enjoy the brightness. I just use my lamps when I want thing dimmer. The service is great I was missing one of the strands of crystals but they sent me what I was missing. No complaints from me.
