“ The Last Letter is a haunting, heartbreaking and ultimately inspirational love story.“― InTouch Weekly Beckett, If you’re reading this, well, you know the last-letter drill. You made it. I didn’t. Get off the guilt train, because I know if there was any chance you could have saved me, you would have. I need one thing from you: get out of the army and get to Telluride. My little sister Ella’s raising the twins alone. She’s too independent and won’t accept help easily, but she has lost our grandmother, our parents, and now me. It’s too much for anyone to endure. It’s not fair. And here’s the kicker: there’s something else you don’t know that’s tearing her family apart. She’s going to need help. So if I’m gone, that means I can’t be there for Ella. I can’t help them through this. But you can. So I’m begging you, as my best friend, go take care of my sister, my family. Please don’t make her go through it alone. Ryan Review: A Captivating Tale of Family, Grief, and Love - This novel is filled with emotion and heart, leaving a lasting impression long after the final page. One of the most compelling aspects of the story is the depth of the male protagonist’s feelings. Without ever truly meeting his best friend’s sister, he falls for her simply through her letters, creating a connection that feels both tender and genuine. His devotion to her after her brother’s death is especially moving, as he becomes fiercely protective of her and her children, determined to care for and support them through their grief. The twins also bring so much warmth to the story. Their love for their mother and for each other adds an emotional depth that makes the family dynamic feel authentic and heartfelt. The relationships throughout the novel are beautifully written, capturing both the pain of loss and the comfort of love and loyalty. The writing itself is touching and engaging, with moments that make you smile just as easily as they pull at your heart. The storyline is captivating from beginning to end, constantly drawing you in and leaving you eager to keep reading to discover what happens next. Overall, this is a beautifully written and emotionally rich story that will resonate with readers who enjoy heartfelt romance and family-centered narratives. Review: You Won’t Be Able to Put This Down - I’m not even finished with The Last Letter yet, but I had to come leave a review because this book has me completely hooked. I’m currently heading into chapter 23, and the emotional depth of this story is unreal. The way Rebecca Yarros writes these characters makes you feel everything love, pain, patience, and healing all at once. Beckett is the kind of man that makes you believe in real, protective, intentional love, and the way his character unfolds little by little keeps you invested. What really stands out to me is how different the characters’ lives are, yet how beautifully their worlds come together. Nothing feels rushed it’s layered, emotional, and very real. You can feel the grief, the strength, and the vulnerability in every chapter. I don’t even know how it ends yet, but if the first half is any indication, this is one of those books that stays with you long after you finish it. Definitely worth the read.

Masterful, page-turning read!!!
Soooo good! So. So. Good. You’ll fall in love with the setting, the characters, their individual stories, and how their lives become unexpectedly intertwined. The author is masterful at making both the narrative and the dialogue effortless to read. You’ll be turning pages without even realizing it … and the next thing you know, you’ll land on page 178 and not know how you got there so quickly!! Have your tissues ready for this one!!!!

Lots of Tissues Needed
The Last Letter by Rebecca Yarros is a standalone contemporary military romance. It follows the story of Beckett, who was in Special Ops for the Army, and Ella, who runs a B&B and has twins. These two get to know each other when Ella's brother and Beckett's best friend, Ryan, sets them up to be penpals. I don't want to spoil anything. That being said, this book devastated me. It broke my heart multiple times. I read this book in a day and a half because I was hooked and needed to know the ending. This is a captivating story of sacrifice, vulnerability, strength, healing, and love. Make sure you have lots of tissues when you embark on this journey.

Still think about this book
Absolutely destroyed me in the best way. Well, maybe not the best way. But I am so glad I read it. I went in expecting a romance, but what I got was a heartbreaking story about grief, love, sacrifice, and finding hope after unimaginable loss. The characters felt so real that by the end, it felt like I had lived through every painful moment with them. This book made me cry, which is hard to do. The healed me a little, and then broke my heart all over again. Definitely one of those stories that stays with you long after the last page.

A truly heartbreaking and addictive read
What a beautiful read, I truly enjoyed this book. I read for two days solid without much break. I wanted to know the outcome of this beautiful family. It was uplifting to have this amazing love story, twisted with grief and regret. You cannot not fall in love with Ella, Beckett, Maisie and Colton, it is unbelievably heartbreaking how the story comes to a conclusion but through it all you still have this lovely story of second chances and unrivalled love. The book is so well written, and you really do feel the emotion throughout. This is the first time I have got to the end of a Rebecca Yarros book and I am sure it's not going to be my last. I definitely will hold onto my loved ones a little tighter after reading this book.

Beautiful beautiful story!
Kindle. Though I found a little bit weird to write letters to someone you don’t know, it was a beautiful story. I enjoyed it very much and shed one or two (or a thousand) tears. Read the trigger warnings because as a mother of a little one some parts were heavy and heart-breaking.
