ErgoFoam Foot Rest for Under Desk at Work Adjustable - Chiropractor-Endorsed, High-Density Foam, Velvet (Black)

I found the ErgoFoam Adjustable footrest to be SUPER comfortable. I have a desk that has a raised height and this allows me to have that foot support I need at the chair height I use. I don't put my shoes on it so that probably helps keep it clean. I have yet had to wash it and I simply brush any pet hair off. The foam is still very firm and responsive. I recently started working from home so I am at my desk for much longer periods of time now. At my last job, I would have to get things from the office printer, attend meetings, do filing and just generally be up and moving more. With my new job, I noticed that my feet were uncomfortable just on the ground, and my legs would be a bit stiff from sitting all day, so I thought I better do something about it. So, I started digging around. I ran across some other reviews of the ErgoFoam Foot Rest and decided to try it. I have been using it for a while now and thought it was time to give my opinion on it. PROS: 1. The exterior cover is very, very soft, and cleans easily with a hand vac, if needed. Sometimes, my cat will sit by my feet, and I have been able to get her fur off easily. It is not a high nap on the fabric, so cleaning has been a breeze. I have not spilled anything on it, so I cannot say how it will respond to a spot cleaning. 2. The memory foam is firm but not hard. It has maintained its shape very well. It is comfortable on my feet, and sometimes, I will cross my feet and rest my ankles on it because it feels good. 3. It rocks back and forth. This was my main purpose in purchasing this item. Since I need to move my legs more, I just flip the cushion so that the rounded side is to the floor, and rock my feet from front to back. That works wonderfully. The flat base of each cushion is covered in a different kind of material that has little nubs or beads on it. They felt a bit weird the first few times I used it, but I am completely adjusted to it now. It lets me grip the cushion a bit when rocking my feet from front to back. If I spend some time every hour that I am at my desk rocking my feet by using my leg muscles to circulate my blood, my legs definitely feel better at the end of the day. That, in and of itself, made this a good purchase for me. 4. It is adjustable. This part was a really big deal for me. Based on the height of my desk at home, it is really helpful that I can take off one section so it is not so tall. It fits better under my current desk, but if I get a taller desk, or if I even feel like having a greater range of rocking, I can just zip the second layer back on. 5. The quality of the material used and the construction itself seem good. I have not experienced any wear or breakdown after several months of use. The seams are sewn well and are not pulling apart or loose. The zippers glide easily. CONS: 1. I am a tight-wad, so paying 40 bucks for something just to put my feet on was hard to do. Luckily, there was a coupon available on my purchase, so that made it easier. 2. The two sections are held together by 4 pieces of velcro and a zipper on one side. There is probably a completely valid reason for doing it this way, but I would have preferred to have one zipper that goes all the way around and just omit the velcro. I would not, however, let this stop me from purchasing this item. Just a personal preference. 3. This one is kind of silly, but it would be good if there were more color options. For example, a neutral color such as tan or taupe, might be good. If someone has a completely white office, they might like a white one. My home office is a hodge-podge of items so style does not matter, and luckily, black is my favorite color. If and when something happens to it, and if I have not retired by then, I can definitely see myself purchasing another one. I have never used one from another manufacturer, so I cannot say if they are all the same, but I can say that I really like this product and would recommend it and would repurchase it.

TL:DR; works great, if your feet sweat, it soaks in. Consider wearing slippers to prolong wash intervals! It works great as a footrest. It's very comfortable. You can adjust the height, that's very useful. I was actually using only the bottom part. It worked so well that I was always using it. However, this was my first experience with a memory foam that essentially soaked up sweat. I guess that makes it an open-cell foam; the covers are removeable and washable, but underneath, the foam was brown and dark from where my sweat was soaking in. I had to thoroughly handwash them, because they were starting to smell sweaty like a gym. That's a pretty key feature to note. This might not be a big deal if you're using it in an office where you have shoes all the time (although it will still soak in whatever else you introduce to it) but at home it's gonna have to get washed, unless maybe if you have a sideloader washing machine. The foam is somewhat fragile, I felt it tearing if I dug my fingers in too hard while wringing it out.

I just received this item but already appreciating its value. As I work from home and at the computer for long hours I find I am always looking to raise my legs from time to time. As I am also using a gel cushion to support my lower back I do find that I will need to adjust my chair to accommodate one of the other when I am at my desk. Not an issue but just an observation. Overall I find the foot rest is perfect for my needs, it’s soft but firm and very pleasing to use.

This is a very comfortable foot rest. As someone that works 8+ hrs / day at the computer, I have noticed that it significantly reduced the pressure on my lower back since I have started using it.

This footrest made a huge difference in my comfort while working at my desk. The foam is soft yet supportive, and the adjustable height is perfect for finding the right ergonomic position. My legs and lower back feel much more relaxed at the end of the day. The velvet cover feels premium and doesn’t slip on the floor. Definitely worth it if you spend long hours sitting. simple product, big improvement in comfort!

I have two of these already, one made with the net and one made with the felt. I like the felt a little better, so I just order my third one. Why so many? Well, I have two houses and I use them at both. I like to use one at my desk and one when I'm sitting at the sofa. I have lower back problems, and its best that I don't cross my legs when sitting. Using these is the only way I can get comfortable. Also, they are great for a prop when I do yoga or stretching. If I had to say one thing negative about them, it would be that the one made of net really holds dust. You have to hit it against the floor to shake out the dust. It's worth it though.

Ich wusste auch, dass Fußstützen die richtige Haltung fördern, da sie je nach Körpergröße und Sitzposition den gewünschten 90 Grad Winkel in der Kniekehle herstellen würden. Ich habe viele Produkte verglichen und habe mich für Ergofoam entschieden. Ergofoam ist weich, aber hat dennoch eine gewisse Festigkeit an sich, was ich sehr gut finde, da man nicht in der Fußstütze versinken möchte. Es hat zwei unterschiedliche Höhen, welche clever durch sich selbst verschließende Klettverschlüsse verbunden werden. Die Breite ist genau richtig und die Stütze hat genügend Eigengewicht, sodass sie nicht auf glattem Boden sich hin und her bewegt. Alles in allem klare Kaufempfehlung.
