Very thin cotton - which is *exactly* what you want when it's hot and humid and you really just want to to run around the house stark naked but you maybe shouldn't, lol . . . also very pretty, and looks good on everybody ! BUT !! DON'T THROW IT IN THE WASHING MACHINE unless it's in a lingerie/washing bag, AND on a gentler cycle, AND cold/ cool water ! I own 3 or 4 of this kind of pareo and they will last & not fade, IF you treat them properly. (* A very quick coldwater hand wash is easy and dries fast if you hang it up to dry. ). ** Totally worth it : you can be hot and sweaty and still look great and be comfortable ! And it's not see-through when dry . .

I was hesitant to buy this sarong after reading several reviews. I am so glad I took a chance on this one! It is a beautiful color and was not too sheer and not to "starched" as some reviewers have said. I only wish it was a little larger. I am a plus girl and measured another plus sarong before purchasing this to see if it would fit. It isn't as roomy as I would like but I could get it tied. If you are not plus size, this should be plenty of fabric to do whatever you want to do with it. I have not washed it yet so I can not say anything about shrinking or fading. Bottom Line - the price was right and it is beautiful! So far, very pleased with my purchase!

Very pretty, not quite the quality I was hoping for. It washes well, wears well, and seems to get better with age so far. Just a bit thinner than expected. I have been purchasing these for years and this one is the thinnest.

Such a cute serong for over a swimsuit! Many different ways to wear and it and goes on and off easily which is perfect for pool or beach. It wrinkles where you tie it but as long as it’s tied up you can’t tell! Great buy! Washes and dries great as well!

I was so excited to receive this sarong.... until i opened it up and found a HUGE hole cut out from the fabric. At first i thought it was to help tie the sarong, but it's at the wrong end and it's not mentioned in the description, plus the cut edge is not sewn like the rest of the fabric edges. The sarong comes with a sticker saying it was checked by Akshya - clearly they didn't inspect this product very closely. Very disappointed as i was going to buy 8 more sarongs as gifts for my friends, but bought one first to check the product quality. I'm so glad i did as there's no way i'm buying any more of these!

This is the 2nd wrap I’ve ordered and I absolutely love it. It is the perfect lightweight wrap/sarong for the beach. I like that the length of this one is longer than my other one ( I have the pink and white one… don’t know those measurements off the top of my head). This can easily be wrapped around your waist but you can also wrap and tie it around your neck for a halter dress look. The color is vibrant and accurately depicted in the picture. I’ve washed it at least 4 times in the past week (dirty from the beach!) and it’s held up just fine. It dries well in the dryer and doesn’t come out too wrinkly. I’d 100% recommend this. It’s super adorable but looks chic and expensive.

El pareo es grande y no m importa que sea un poco rígido como dicen otros comentarios. Lo que sí me parece DECEPCIONANTE es que los colores sean COMPLETAMENTE DISTINTOS. Adjunto foto como prueba. No es ni la mitad de bonito que en la foto que pone el vendedor. Muy decepcionada y más teniendo en cuenta el precio que tiene!!!
