But it has strong dishsoap smell and being washed with dishwasher, this smell ruined all the waffles.Do not wash in dishwasher. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to use, easy to store, *by S***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on September 29, 2024* I wanted to recreate birdseye potato waffles and make a healthier homemade version, but also didn't want another appliance to store. These are the perfect size, and I snapped up the pair when I saw they were available again. I greased the pan well with oil spray, and filled the moulds with a mash potato, spring onion, garlic/onion powder, salt pepper and rice flour mix, and baked in a 200c oven for 20m, then removed them and cooked directly on the baking tray a further 10-15m. I did not fill to the top as I wanted the holes to go all the way through, to allow for more crispy bits and to be more authentic to the original. They were crispy and tasty and looked the part too! It would nice to be able to make them a bit thicker but thems the breaks. The waffles were easy to remove, the moulds easy to clean and I live the brown colour as opposed to the mostly garish colours available elsewhere. The size of the mould is really useful, if you want to make 6 or 3.
