I researched other brands of scouring soap but I decided to buy this (normally I would settle for generics) but the price on desertcart was better than good. So far I have used it on sinks, in the shower, the wash basin, or stainless steel pots and even cast iron pots. I have to say that this is a great product and also gentle on the hands. Stainless Steel pots can get stubborn residues of food stuck to the bottom of the pan which are hard to remove, soaking and elbow grease only go so far. However soaking and brillo is a much effective method. I was afraid that it would scratch the pot but that has not happened. I guess the soaking helped because dry scrubbing would lead to scratches. It helps take away the grime and scum in the shower. Again it is seemingly safe to use on the bathtub. While I would not want to use these exclusively in the kitchen as dish soap works fine most of the time. I would definitely want to have some around for the tough food bits which cling as a result of steel pans and burnt messes.
