Hope this helps **Q: will this work well on a 1" tear in the side of a treadmill belt? tensile strength, impact resistance, heat resistance and flexibility are important** A: No. I don't think it will work for that. **Q: will it withstand temps up to 212 deg F?** A: I think it would be fine at that temp. Says on the tube curable with heat. I use it on marine lower units and it seals perfectly with no leaks.
