Works great with DVD singles and heavy boxsets on top
Just got this last weekend. I made a mistake while putting it together that made it take about an hour to finish. However it is entirely possible to put the media rack together with one person and a screwdriver - some pieces are easier than others to do one handed (one hand on the structure, one on the screwdriver). You definitely need the screwdriver, otherwise putting it together would be impossible. Also I would suggest looking through the entire instructions first and matching up the pieces. I matched up the pieces but only read the first page to get started. Once I got to the second page I realized I had made a big mistake and had to start all over. This is the first wood (instead of entirely metal) media rack I've bought and I was a bit worried it wouldn't look as good. I bought the dark colored rack and am pleasantly surprised with how nice it looks. It matches the rest of my furniture and even the metal media racks I already had~ As to the media it holds I would say 150 is about right. I haven't counted up how many dvds I fit on it but it is full with a lot of singles and a smattering of box sets. The singles fit on all of the shelves without any issues, as long as they did not have a slipcover. Slipcovered dvds still fit but are a bit tighter and you might worry about the paper getting damaged. For sets that are the size of dvd singles (e.g. thinpacks in a paper sleeve) they fit as well as the slipcovered dvds did. Blurays had plenty of room to move around. I did put several regular (non-thinpack) dvd boxsets on the top. I was a bit worried that everything was going to topple over when I did that, since my boxsets are quite heavy when compared to singles. However the rack has stayed completely stable, even though it is a bit top heavy. I've been checking it occasionally to make sure it is not leaning or moving and can report back that it has not moved at all or even rocked back and forth. I have it on a hardwood floor, so people with carpet might have a different experience. I also wanted to mention that the box this thing comes in is small and heavy, very different size when compared to the metal media racks. It is in two halves when it ships to you and you have to use screws to put the two pieces together. I was worried that would make it unstable but I tested it before adding the dvds and found that the connection was solid. In fact I think this wood media rack is more stable than the metal media racks I have - which did not come in halves (just very long poles). It also has a nice sleek look when compared to the metal media racks.

Super easy to assemble and compact
I searched through all the racks I could find before I stumbled upon this one. The reviews convinced me to give it a shot. I needed something that could hold as much as possible in a small package and that was easy to assemble. If that's what you need, look no further! When I say it is easy to assemble, I really mean it. I do not like assembly, and I am not particularly good at it. I assembled this rack by myself, in a small space, with pets around, and I did it calmly, no cursing or breaking a sweat. Even when I discovered I made a mistake at the end, it was so easy to correct. When I connected the top half to the bottom half, the bottom half was facing backwards and I hadn't noticed until I was finished. It took me a couple of minutes to flip it. I did not secure it to the wall, as its in a corner and there is no chance it will get bumped. In a high traffic area, I recommend you secure it to the wall. As it stands, its sturdy enough. As other reviews are noted, the end stops as important. Otherwise, DVDs can fall. Blu rays not so much. The frame is lightweight and compact, as I previously mentioned. For holding about 150 DVD/bluray titles, it takes up little space. Its much smaller than I thought it would be. I only wish the wood was dark to go with my other furniture. But it looks nice anyway. The frame is thin, and the shelves are filled with media so the color is relatively unobtrusive. This rack has much higher capacity for storage for the price than any other competitor. You really can't go wrong with this. I'd get another one if I had somewhere to put it. I'd love to have one for each genre of films. This one holds my Criterion Collection titles, art house films, and there was even room for my Hammer horror titles. My eurohorror collection is crying out for one of these racks. The way the shelves incline makes it super easy to spot what you are looking for. This shelf organizes your media very efficiently. A+

A Little Flimsy, But Still Good For The Price
Overall this ok... The pieces are a little on the cheap side, assembly can be a little frustrating, and the finished product is a little flimsy. It's not perfect, but for about $35 it's still adequate. Some of the pieces have some excess material that needs to be removed and some of the holes haven't been drilled out enough for easy installation of screws. I was also shorted a few wood screws, but I keep plenty in the shop, so that wasn't a huge problem. You'll likely find that trimming some excess "wood" from some pieces and checking the holes before you start installing screws will save you some trouble later. The instructions aren't terrible, but if you get off the path a little I could see someone putting it together upside down. If you study them a little ans use some common sense you should be good to go. The addition of the adjustable dividers is nice, but they could probably be left out if you don't need them or don't want to make assembly more complicated. I'm still pretty happy, but I would look around a little more next time or perhaps build something myself before I bought another one of these. It's pretty good for the money, but it's a little on the flimsy side for my liking.

Sure a nice little shelf for movies in a little space. Sure can't buy these anymore in stores so definitely worth it and easy to put together but not a premium item for some just good enough for what ya need

A decent looking media rack. Needed some help for assembly as not too easy for one person. Holes may not match, so needed some trial and error. Update: some disc not secured properly with the divider. May need to fill up with more disc.

Los acabo de armar y quedaron muy bien, unos pequeños detalles de ajuste en su cuadratura pero nada mayor, no inclui los topes en el armado ya que iban a llenarse ambos, hasta me hizo falta otro.
