Worked fine but pricey for a simple Schrader valve
This Schrader valve worked fine in the low-pressure valve of our GM vehicle, but "genuine GM" is certainly overpriced.

get the best - weep once
I replaced all the core valve when I flushed, cleaned and rebuilt the AC system top to bottom of my trusty Silverado. Her original AC lasted 18 years before she gave her last full measure. The system is at 250 microns na was pressured tested with nitrogen for three days at 120 PSI. Zero leaks and almost a dull roar when everything is perfect and nothing goes wrong. Big tip for long term success: don't use PAG oil to rub the seals and gaskets. You're asking for oxidation/corrosion creep since the aluminum tubes and components are already been thorough hundreds of heat/cold cycles. Aluminum is always oxidizing. When moisture creeps in as the PAG oil absorb moisture you are on borrowed time. I used GM seal conditioner from the R12 days. It was one of the best conditioners ever made. I fully expect another 15 plus years on the new AC system. Also, when you have the vacuum level you want, load coolant liquid from the high side. Easy to do and gas laws and fluid physics are in your side for a precise and controlled charge cycle. I may post picots of the setup is made up when using this punky little R134a 12 ounce cans. Also, don't pull a vacuum if you can avoid it using those manifold setups. Seperate vacuum and separate charge lines. Just some advice FWIW. It pays to do your homework and be a winner. Peace.

pricey but works
this fit in the low side fill port of a 2015 gmc sierra 1500, as indicated. it looks awfully similar to the extras that came in the generic stem tool kit that cost about the same as this one valve and had many parts, but it did fit as indicated, and it seems to have stopped the leak at that location. not sure the price was worth it since i also had to get the kit with the tool which had valve stems in it too, but this does work for what it was supposed to do.

Direct replacement
I was replacing the leaking high side valve on my โ97 Silverado and figured that after this many years, if Iโm replacing the high side, may as well do the low side. Installation is simple using a standard Schrader valve tool. I recharged the system and several months later it is working fine.

Worked as described. Fixed my leaking valves on both high and low side of my 01 Suburban. Has been holding for about 2 years now.

Works like new again
I replaced my compressor accumulator orifice tube high pressure sensor low pressure sensor and a new sensor for the back of the compressor new GM Schrader valve and service port/ high side fitting you will need a special socket to change the high side service port. Emptied out the old accumulator into a measuring cup I used my two cycle mixing cup as it gives fluid ounces, added what came out of the old accumulator to the new accumulator. With new peg 150 ACDelco refrigerant oil, Dumped out the refrigerant oil in the new compressor it measured 4 oz replaced refrigerant oil with ACDelco pag 150 oil I did this twice with my 97 Chevy Dually and my 99 Chevy Tahoe both systems work perfectly Ice Cold Air again !!

This AC valve core was fine but actually did not fit my 88 IROC
This AC valve core was fine but actually did not fit my 88 IROC; mine was quite a bit larger than the this one, which looks exactly like a tire valve stem core. Not sure what happened there. I'm sure this one would be fine otherwise; not worth sending it back or anything like that.
