It comes supplied with the metal bracket attached to the glass panel instead of the dimmer unit. For now you need to remove this. Use a flat blade screwdriver to wiggle it off the glass panel. I suggest you practice snapping it back on a few times so you know how to do that when the dimmer is screwed into the wall. I didn't have enough depth in the wall to sit it flush and WORSE the box was deeper on one side than the other making aligning that screw hole impossible! Adding a spacer solved that and enabled me to latch the glass panel on. As the spacer is cheap buy one just in case. "Schneider-Electric 1 Gang Spacer black" SPACER INSTALLATION TIP: To align the screw holes position, first screw the spacer onto the wall and then mark around it's outline or do as I did sellotape the outside of the spacer to the wall.
