Ortho Lands B-Gon Grass Killer for Landscapes (4)

After doing some AI research, I bought this to kill the grass that was growing in my dymondia silver carpet -- without killing the dymondia itself. It worked great! Grass is gone, but not the plants I wanted to protect.

I have loved this product for over a decade. It is simply great at killing JUST grasses so you can use it on areas in your flowerbed where the grass is growing in plants that you cant dig the grass out of.

So far this product had done exactly what I hoped it would do. I use it in my established flower beds that grasses are constantly trying to take over..It takes a few days or up to a week but it's does selectively kill the grasses.

I was skeptical that this would work, grass in flowerbeds, especially things like ground cover. But this did work, it took about 2 weeks and two applications, but the grasses eventually brown out and die. It sure beats trying to pull them out by hand. I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars because of the slow action. Would be better if it worked like a broadleaf weed killer, it acts in a few days.

Doesn't kill the grass as advertised I have grass in my flower garden. I found this product because I was looking for something to kill the grass but not the flowers. I used all 4 bottles, giving weekly sprays to the grass and the grass is still there. didn't kill my flowers, so that's good. Can't use around Junipers, and that is what I needed most... so I can't really say this is a useful product. I would have spent less time pulling the grass by hand. In fact, after the bottles were gone that is what I did... pull the grass by hand. work much better and cheaper, but very time consuming.

Does what it says

The Ortho Grass Killer is a life saver for my plant garden. I use them especially at the border of my garden. Although it takes awhile for the unwanted grass to go, it’s very effective and I keep several containers of the Grass B-Gon every summer.
