Go to the Peterson website and you can find the measurements. They are bigger than I expected, too big for my fireplace.

Is the back 24 inches? Or the back plus the 2 sides is 24 inches?

The RH Peterson Fyreback measurements are- back panel: 16"H x 21.5"W Side panel: 14"H x 12"W. The side panels are also designed to adjust to the contour of your fireplace.

Back Width of my fireplace is only 20’. Will this fit ?

flimsy - one part will not stay together whatsoever. No added heat. Amazon insists I send it back covered in soot in a large box i will have to find as I don't have original packaging. I am not pleased. I am out 135.00
