Schwinn Thrasher Bike Helmet

This helmet is easy to adjust to properly fit my child’s head. It stays level on my child’s head and is easy for him to take on and off independently. This weekend it proved its worth, protecting my child’s head when he was thrown out of a bike trailer during a neighborhood ride, landing on his head and shoulder without injury. We’re definitely replacing it with another one. Thank you Schwinn for designing a great child’s helmet!

I had bought a different helmet on Amazon at the beginning of this summer for my big headed daughter to wear while bicycling and scootering. Well it was WAY too big and not adjustable at all. Previously we had really expensive but adjustable helmets from the local bike store and I didn't really want to pay $50 again for another helmet. I searched and was fairly sure from the reviews that this helmet was what I was looking for- and it was! The pads inside are comfortable, the rim in front provides a bit of shade, but most of all for me there is the dial adjuster in the back which allows for a really secure fit on my daughters head. It seems like it will fit for a few years too which makes me even happier! She loves the pattern and I might end up buying another one for her twin sister (who has a much smaller head!) I definitely recommend this helmet. My daughter is 5 but has a big head. Her twin sister could fit in this one as well but it's a bit big.

My daughter loves the design of the helmet, and it seems to fit her well. My one complaint is that the adjustable teeth on the inside of the back portion snag in her hair every time she tries to take it off. I have to help her untangle her hair from the adjustable portion often.

Perfect for my 7 year old son who loves green! I love that it's adjustable and fits him well. I had to trim the straps because they were too long under his chin (couldn't fold it or anything) but that's okay. I think the straps are adult straps.

Ordered for 3 year old and too small. Just celebrated Christmas on Valentine’s Day, ordered in January, and return window had closed already. Very short period allowed for returns. Ordered a bigger size to send directly to child. Addendum: after talking to customer service, they were willing to take the too small of a helmet back for a full refund and the bigger helmet is already on its way. Great customer service
