Chatfield's Carob Chips 12oz

I recently bought the powder. It wasn’t from this company. It was from another company. It tasted horrible. I will never buy that again. I should’ve just bought this in the first place as soon as I tasted it I was like wow it taste just like chocolate. What a difference. If I could give anybody advice, ignore the powder and get this. The health benefits are the same and you’re not eating chocolate you’re eating something healthier but it tastes exactly like chocolate. It’s amazing. Great for smoothies. Great for yogurt, which is exactly what I’m gonna be using it for thank you guys!

These are good. When I make cookies ibadd them in since I can't eat regular cholate. The price is goof also.

These chips are completely addictive and I can’t keep them in the house more than a couple of days. I go through the whole bag by myself. Oink.

I eat these Carob Chips as snacks. They are very sweet and a nice alternate to chocolate, for those that need to avoid caffeine. They have a maple syrup like flavor. Everything about the flavor and chips themselves are great. If they make a slightly less sweetened version as well, it would also be great, too (the sweetness can be overpowering at times). The one downfall was that it was quite hot out when they were delivered. Because they didn’t account for the heat in the packaging, and it was dropped off outside the front door, they were fully melted together when I got them (which was less than a few hours after drop off: I had just come home from work). As you can see in the picture, it turned into a “nutella” like substance. Still tasted really good, but became much harder to eat and store in this condition, since freezing it turned it into a solid block of carob, which isn’t great for snacking. My suggestion is packing it with ice or some sort of cold compress/insulation in the box during the summer months, to avoid people receiving it in a completely melted state, like I did.

Arrived as a melted blob. Unusable and cannot return it. Do not order it unless you live in a very cold climate.

I use these in my peanut butter energy balls. Acid reflux issues so I can't eat chocolate, (caffeine) These taste great once you get over the fact that they don't taste like chocolate. They add a nice sweet touch and crunch.

Taste is very similar to chocolate, caramel like. I made carob chip cookie.

I love these chips. I can’t eat chocolate so I use these instead. They’re great in baked goods and even on ice cream.

Item listed 3 pack and I only received 1. It also stated that it was made with beet sugar. But when I received the package it just lists regular cane sugar. Very deceptive.
