Liquitex BASICS Modeling Paste, 250ml (8.4oz) Tube

I've used tons of different varnishes for my acrylic paintings and they all had their issues, but this is the best varnish by far! The texture is so smooth and doesn't leave lines! I use a soft camel mop brush. It's got the perfect amount of shine to it and is super durable! The bottle size is great for doing many many projects because it goes a long way! It's thin enough to be workable and doesn't leave a sticky residue after it's fully cured! I even used it to cover some dowels that I made into dotting tools and I can still use a damp cloth to wipe the paint off them without the varnish coming off! I'm going to buy the matte and satin versions too for different projects! Liquitex is definitely the best! It even works for my air dry clay projects!

This varnish is super user and beginner friendly. The varnish is thin enough to be spread evenly easily. It dries very fast as well, and leave the final product with a very nice glossy finish. One thing I've noticed is that you need to brush over an area once and then not again or you risk your paintbrush leaving lines in your glossy finish

Fast drying varnish with a nice finish. The consistency is very even, making it easy to apply. It covers the canvas well. I used if over painted and unpainted sections of canvas, over acrylic. The varnish adheres very well to the canvass, it goes into the fabric. The odor was not too bad, not as strong as other products. I have used thicker varnish before, and I like this one better.

Works fantastic! Getting harder and harder to find in the tube though. Wish liquitex wasn’t changing to jars for everything, not nearly as convenient. Tubes are much easier to use especially when small amounts are needed.
