A bit overrated, but still quite good
Most of the people I've seen talk about the adventure packs of Skylanders rate this pack as being the best... however, I must disagree with them. Character: Sunburn gets a 5/5 as far as the power and skill goes... all things considered, it is one of two adventure pack Skylanders I'd actually like to have 2 of (the other being Ghost Roaster). You can't really go wrong with either skill path, both are relatively good (hence my desire to have 2 of them). Level: Dragon's Peak gets 3/5 in terms of overall view. As far as it goes, this is a decent level, though the trips with the dragon gets real old real quick... was pretty boring actually... The only reason I give it a fair rating is because of the ending part of it (I won't ruin it, but it is a challenge compared to the overall difficulty of the game). Magic Items: I rate these as 5/5. Sparx Dragonfly is useful when you want to help level up a weaker character as it dishes out pretty good damage quickly. As for the Winged Boots, they can be invaluable for Heroic Challenges as it speeds a character up. Along with the Time Twister Hourglass of Darklight Crypt, even the slowest character can get through the strictest time requirement.

skylanders spyro dragons peak
Awesome! - Especially when the seller sends you mint condition. Buy, trade, collect, and play. Skylanders has it all. The adventure packs expand the game to new areas that you will not find without the adventure pack pieces. While you do not have to have the adventure packs to enjoy the game, the adventure packs add to the storyline, increase play time, and offer additional oportunities to level up you Skylanders. PS3 does not save which areas of the map you have played but your Skylander saves your character development. On the Nintendo 3DS, this game has great graphics and great individual play. It even stores two Skylanders at a time for you to switch between. On PS3, you the game is best when played with two players at a time. On 3DS, you only have one player but it is all you need.

Fun board but easy to beat
I got this for my almost 5 year old son because he has almost beat the whole Skylanders game and wanted him to have the extra boards to beat too. He beat this in one night which was disappointing to say the least but it is a really fun board. The character has really cool effects. I was a little disappointed that it doesn't fly but it does do like a reverse flying type thing but under the ground (a little similar to Cynder's power when she greys out and goes really fast). The shoe is nice to have to get the characters extra speed. If you combine it with the rocket hat for speed and then put the shoe on the portal, the characters can go back and beat some of the harder boards for the time. As for the board, I thought it was really neat and my son did too. It goes back to the old original Spyro games where it has flying board where you have to dodge rocks, bombs, and collect jewels. It's not hard like the Spyro flying boards were which was disappointing as well. He had a lot of fun with it but I thought the board was too easy. All the treasures and hats, etc were found really easily and he finished the whole thing in one night going through the board twice. I love the Skylanders games and the concept but I wish they would make harder games so they aren't beat as easily. The reason I gave this only 3 stars was because of the ease to beating it. For $20 I was hoping for something that would take him multiple times through to find everything and beat it. The character and extra pieces were worth the money but the board was a little disappointing. If you only want to buy one extra board, I would recommend the ice one. That one wasn't as "pretty" to look at while doing it but it was a lot harder.

Possibly the best of the Adventure Packs.
Fans of Spyro the Dragon, rejoice- Sparx has returned! One thing I always joke about with Skylanders is that it's called "Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure", yet his name isn't spoken even once, and he isn't even in the center on the game's box art. The poor little guy gets his first major game in years, and you can hardly tell he's in it! While Dragons Peak might not remedy that, there are definitely some tips of the hat to old school Spyro fans with this pack. Dragon Peak brings back Spyro's great dragonfly, Sparx, and has a whole level where the focus is dragons. Complete with dragons turned to stone, anyone who has fond memories of playing through the first Spyro game will get a little nostalgic with this stage. Also included are the Winged Boots and one of the most visually striking Skylanders: Sunburn. It's about time we get a fire type that isn't human-ish or bulky. When placed on the Portal, Dragons Peak becomes accessible to the player on the left side of the Ruins in plain sight. You won't have to go hunting around for this level like the Empire of Ice one. An evil dragon has taken over the dragon kingdom after the original king left his throne for a bit. Its up to you to face the dragon and set things right. For the most part, this stage is standard Skylanders fare and can be completed in under 15 minutes. There aren't any puzzles or challenging parts aside from new enemies that blow themselves up and deal huge damage to you if you're within their range. It's a straightforward level and finding everything (hats, treasure, Soul Gem) isn't very hard. You even get to leave the ground for a while with several flying areas. Unfortunately, it's not as cool as it sounds- you're stuck avoiding rocks and collecting gems while on the back of one of the dragons. Control is a little weird: move the left analog stick to move, but you'll always reset back to the center of the screen when you let go of the stick. It's a bummer that these parts are VERY short too. I would've loved for them to have made these more like the old flying stages in Spyro the Dragon just to take you back a little more. And just a little heads up- the boss fight is very, very underwhelming. That and the short flying stages are the reason I'm giving this Adventure Pack a lower score than the others. But everything else here is great. Sparx is a handy little 'item' that attacks enemies (until his time runs out, like all items). It's nice to have something can interrupt enemy attacks in case you're trying to get away and regroup. The Winged Boots make your Skylander so fast that it becomes funny. Placing this item on the Portal speeds you up big time, giving you a chance to deal tons of damage while enemies are helpless, or make a fast escape. The timer on this item runs out faster than any other I've seen, so use it wisely. As for Sunburn, he's a cool dragon/phoenix creature that has some nice tools. His primary attack is flame breath, secondary is a kind of teleport and his third is a dash move very similar to Cynder's. The flame breath attack pushes enemies back a little bit, and his teleport is unique. When used, Sunburn deploys 4 flames around him (up, down, left and right). Move the left analog stick in any direction, and he'll go there instantly, arriving in a burst of flames that damage enemies. When fully upgraded, Sunburn becomes very powerful, though the recovery time on some his moves may leave him a little helpless in Battle Mode against the stronger Skylanders. Now that the figures and Adventure Packs are becoming easier to find, there shouldn't be any worry about paying too much for these. The standard price for this one is a great deal, even if the level could've used a little more work on the flight portions. My daughter and I had fun playing through it (she thinks the evil dragon is really cool looking), and Sunburn has become her favorite Skylander, tied with Whirlwind.

The figures that I received are completely safe and works very well and I haven’t had any issues with it so far and now finally I got the whole first series collection completed

I mostly bought this for the Sunburn Skylander that it comes with, but was pleased to discover that the other aspects of this adventure pack work with Skylanders: Giants as well as the Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure game. So there's no reason to not buy this just because you never bought Spyro's Adventure. I don't know if this will work with Swap Force, since that game hasn't come out yet.
