Sturdy and Versatile Keyboard Stand
My husband purchased the Yamaha PKBZ1 Adjustable Z-Style Keyboard Stand, and has been thoroughly impressed with its performance. This stand has proven to be a reliable and convenient solution for my husbandโs keyboard setup, and here are the key reasons why: 1. Sturdy Build: The Yamaha PKBZ1 is built to last. Its heavy-duty construction ensures stability, even for larger and heavier keyboards. My husband never worries about his instrument's safety while using this stand. 2. Z-Style Design: The Z-style design provides excellent support and allows for a comfortable playing position. It's perfect for both sitting and standing, offering flexibility to suit various playing styles. 3. Adjustable Height and Width: The stand's height and width are easily adjustable, making it compatible with a wide range of keyboard sizes and player heights. This adaptability is a real plus for musicians of all levels. 4. Quick Setup: Setting up the stand is a breeze. The assembly is straightforward, and it can be done in minutes without the need for tools. 5. Portability: While sturdy, the stand is surprisingly lightweight, and it can be folded flat for easy transport and storage. This makes it ideal for gigs or moving your setup around. 6. Rubberized Feet: The rubberized feet provide excellent grip and prevent any slippage, ensuring your keyboard stays securely in place during performances. 7. Yamaha Quality: Yamaha's reputation for quality is evident in this stand. It's a trusted brand known for producing reliable musical accessories. In my husbands experience, the Yamaha PKBZ1 Adjustable Z-Style Keyboard Stand has proven to be a fantastic addition to my musical setup. It's a well-built, adjustable, and portable stand that meets the needs of both beginners and professionals. If you're in search of a sturdy and versatile keyboard stand, we highly recommend considering the Yamaha PKBZ1. It offers peace of mind and performance in one package.

Excellent for the price range
I use this stand with a Yamaha P-85, and so far the only issue I have is that the P-85 has a small, strange footprint and doesn't really sit on the pads of this stand very well, but that's the piano's fault, not the stand's. I play standing up, and this Z stand extends to a more than adequate height (I'm about 6'3"). It does shake a little bit, but not in a way that makes you think it's going to collapse. If you play aggressively, the stand will move with you a little, but it's very sturdy and I haven't worried about it giving out. The assembly is very easy, took about three minutes. Adjusting the height is a slight issue because each side adjusts separately, so if you're not careful you won't be quite level, but it's not difficult to do - the knobs are large and turn easily. The arms lock in place and feel very solid, and they also fold back easily to transport it. As another reviewer mentioned, for the price this stand includes a lot of nice touches, like rubber ends on the arms and the large knobs for adjusting the height and width. Altogether a very impressive item for a good price.

Great stand but NOT a Yamaha
I read the reviews before buying this stand and some said that it is mislabeled as a Yamaha and they are absolutely right. When I received this stand absolutely NOTHING on it says Yamaha, not the box, not the instructions, not the unit. What is incorrect on other reviews is this unit is absolutely NOT difficult to assemble. I few screws and you don't even need tools to assemble. It's height and width is also adjustable. It's easy to set up and it is extremely stable when you play. I used an X stand before and the board would wobble when I played. I put a Yamaha CP 88 stage piano on it, it's a pretty heavy unit, and I play sort of hard and this does not move at all. About my only complaint would be that when you fold it up to move it, it does not stay folded, the arms keep trying move. I have to wrap it in a bungee cord to keep them from moving when I'm loading and unloading. Other than that, this stand does the job I bought it to do.

Very happy
I bought a Yamaha P85 electric piano. I am a semi-pro musician but not a piano player so only play piano for fun and song writing so this unit stays at home, no setup/tear down. This stand is well made, sturdy and readily adjustable. If I were traveling it would not be difficult, it is easy to set up and it actually has somewhat of a modular storage ability and with that make sure you read the instructions first before first assembly because it doesn't just "unfold" as it looks like it would. You need to remove the screw knobs to get the sections apart. I have it set for sitting but I'm 6'4" and it goes plenty high enough for me to stand and still be stable. With my piano the surface rails are plenty long enough to add tier rails for a second keyboard.

Outstanding stand
I wanted a solid keyboard stand that would support and protect my hefty investment in my digital keyboard. Itโs set up in my home for playing and practicing. Came quickly. I put it together quickly and without difficulty. The stand is adjustable in width and height. It is solidly built. Which means it is not light or portable. Keyboard rests on top, but it remains in place well. Very happy with this product and would highly recommend for those who donโt need a lightweight portable stand.

Sturdy, Convenient, and Priced Very Well
Purchased the Yamaha PKBZ1 for a Yamaha YPT230. The Z design makes it great for this that wish to sit and play. The height and width adjustments allow for easy adjustment to user's height and for keyboard width. Although the stand was to wide for the Yamaha, the padded stickers make it so that the keyboard won't move and stays in place perfectly. Only thing I would change would be to add a rubber strap to hold the keyboard in place for whenever the setup isn't placed against a wall. But for the price, this thing is perfect.

Horrible condition
I don't know if they thought because this product is mostly made of metal that they didn't have to give a crap about it or what. I received it with a screw bent so far I could hardly get it out, tons of scuffs around the metal, which may not sound bad, but I live in a humid and salty environment, rust will be there in a matter of days to start destroying the stand from the inside out. There's also a piece of rubber that has already started to come apart, (I got this today) I'm sure it will start to dry rot much quicker now. Other than that it seems like a mostly solid stand, there's reasons, though, that they coat the metal in paint/treatment, and reason to take care of products even if they seem like they don't need it. Sadly it's not enough to be worth the trouble of returning, it's still a piano stand, I just figured I'd recieve it in new condition, nor scratched and scuffed. Probably less lifetime on the product now, I expected more from yamaha. And more from amazon. I'll update later

Good bang for the buck
Ordered this keyboard stand for my new 88-key Korg. The stand came in a (very) small box with three pieces and a few knobs that assembled in just a few minutes. The height is adjustable in 2" increments, and the width is adjustable to handle even big 88-key rigs like mine. The stand folds into a small space for transport, and can be disassembled and slipped into a small gig bag if necessary. I'm partial to Z-style keyboards (as opposed to X-style) and this one feels very solid. Unless you plan on jumping on your keyboard onstage, this stand should be able to handle whatever you plunk on it. Excellent deal for the price. Highly recommended.
