Can you provide make/ model and source.** A: 12 in. White Acrylic Globe 5.25 in. Opening - Neckless Cut - American 3201-12020-003. I purchased from 1000 bulbs or if you can find on Amazon. **Q: What is the diameter of the hole?** A: It is 5+5/16" I just measured it for you. **Q: what material is the globe made from?** A: It is made of a white translucent acrylic material. **Q: How do you measure it to get the 12 inch size? Mine is 11 inches. I see that someone says they ordered one and it was only 10.** A: I don't think 11 inches is a standard size and you may want to measure it again. To the best of my knowledge the standards are 10, 12 & 14 inches. Unless you have to match it up with another globe they all should work as long as the opening is correct. The important thing there is the size and type (extruded neck/small lip or neckless/flush cut) of the opening. If those two things aren't right even if you find an 11 inch its not going to fit your fixture.
