Install on a tundra trd pro with great results. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good, But Should Have Been Better. *by Z***N on July 10, 2015* Out of the box the system did not perform as described and expected. It took quite an effort to troubleshoot why I was getting an immediate near-obstacle solid tone. It finally came down to 2 things until the system began to function the way it was supposed to: the size of the hole drilled in the bumper was a TINY bit too tight (the sensor & sleeve were difficult to slide into the hole and that compression caused the tone), and it took the system a particularly long time to 'learn' before it began to function correctly. I had to program the system to ignore mounted obstacles on the rear of my truck even though there is nothing there, but after that it began to work fine. Now, it is working exactly as it was supposed to and it detects all 3 ranges of obstacles behind the vehicle. I read several reviews where the purchaser did have the same issues as I experienced but they were not successful in troubleshooting the system and getting it to work the way it was supposed to work. It will take a while to install but most of that time is involved in installing the sensor wires and making the install clean. DO NOT tie the accessory power lead into the cigarette lighter as advised in the instructions as this source of power is hot at all times-it needs a ignition-switched source of power-and then the main power plug will have to be unplugged to reset the mute function each time the mute button is used. I bought a fuse tap kit at a local auto parts store and used this kit to provide the accessory power source at the fuse box. The reverse power is found at the backup light at the rear light housing. The reverse power and ground wires are not long enough to install and you will probably need to solder a longer wire to make the connections. The installation manual is a joke but you can muddle your way through the install if you have common sense. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great for front parking sensors *by T***M on December 8, 2014* Bought this to have front parking sensors for our Toyota crossover, to complement our rear back-up camera. We had it installed by a local car stereo shop. It works very well and saves our front bumper when we are parking.
