Kamik Women's Heidi Rain Boots

UPDATE!: I've had these boots for 3 years now, my original review is below. These boots are fantastic. I've worn them many many many times. In the yard, working in the garden, out and about when the weather is bad, walking the dogs, and to an outdoor music fest where the mud was (I kid you not) nearly knee deep. No matter how dirty they get I just rinse/hose them off and they look like new again! They haven't leaked or torn. Maybe they aren't as shiny - but they've been through a lot! If someone wants a pair just for commuting or for running errands, these boots if worn just for sidewalk adventures would probably retain their gloss and nice look for years. The inner foot liner came out of the R side, I just tuck it back in and if I get around to adding some strong glue it'll stay, I'm sure. Overall after 3 years of wearing these boots all over and many, many, many times I absolutely highly recommend these boots!!! Original Review: I highly recommend these Kamik waterproof rain boots. I purchased these boots to use when walking the dogs, walking out in the yard when there's rain/heavy dew/mud, and running errands/going out in sloppy weather. These are perfect for all those uses. They are equally as good in country fields and grass as they are on a city sidewalk. SIZE: I wear a 9.5 Women's shoe, I ordered these in a size 10 and they fit great. Very comfortable with a regular sock and enough wiggle room to allow for a thicker boot sock if desired. I have average width feet and the width of this boot was just fine. My calves are average sized and the boots aren't tight around my calves. CONSTRUCTION: Kamik makes quality boots. This is my second pair of Kamik boots (the other pair are winter boots). The material is waterproof and flexible while still holding the shape of boot very well (no "falling down" around the calf). The soles are sturdy and the treads provide traction in sloppy weather. I've worn these boots in heavy rain and they are definitely waterproof. STYLE: These boots look good. Jeans with a boot cut will fit over the top and the bottom of the boot looks nice. Jeans/pants can also be tucked into the boots without them feeling tight and that's a good look as well. The boots look good enough to wear with a casual skirt/dress. I ordered the boots in red, they are shiny, a true red color, and I've received many compliments on them. These are very good looking rain boots. WARMTH: A surprising bonus is how warm these boots are. I wore them for several hours straight during a heavy rain in temperatures just above freezing and even with a regular sock my feet stayed warm and dry. I haven't worn these in the snow yet - however based on how warm they are in near freezing weather, I'm expecting that with a thicker sock they will be able to keep my feet warm in snow even though these are a rain boot and not a "winter" boot. COMFORT: I've worn these boots for several hours at a time and they have been absolutely comfortable.

After about a year of use, these boots look and feel like new still. They're very well made - looks like I'll be able to use them for many years yet. In terms of aesthetics, they don't come in the super cute patterns that some other brands have. But I've had some of those other boots, and they cost twice as much and then crack and leak after a season's use. I'll take a simple, cheerful color that lasts me years and years, thank you very much. In terms of comfort, I've never had a rain boot that I could comfortably wear all day. These, I can. I think partly that's because these fit snugly around the calf. It helps to keep the boot from slipping on the heel. Some reviewers have said they're too tight, or they don't like that you can't tuck your pants in. I can imagine that if you have very thick calves, you might find these too tight. And no, unless you have very thin calves, you're not going to be able to tuck your pants inside. But I solved that pretty easily. I roll my pants up to near the top of the boots, and voila. No wet pants and no uncomfortable bunched up pant legs.

Red Rain Boots!!! AAAAhhhh!!! I love them soo much!!! I bought these Kamik rain boots in the deep red. The color looks just like the picture, which I'm glad of because I was worried it would be too bright. The red stands out, but not too much. As for fit, I always wear a 9M, and that's what I ordered--they fit dreamily, not too loose, but snug enough to prevent chapping. I like that the shaft is narrow enough to prevent it from slapping me, but it is still wide enough to tuck my boot cut jeans in there. Some reviewers said the shaft is too narrow...and if you have curvy legs, that might be an issue as they are narrow--I don't really have much of a calf, so it isn't an issue for me. Did I mention how extremely comfortable these boots are with the cushioned lining in the bottom!? Also, the height hits *just* below my calf. If you are taller, these might be on the short side as I am 5'5 and have short legs. Just a thought, though. These boots are so cute and comfy that I don't want to take them off. I bought 'em for stomping around in our creek, and for messing around on rainy days at my university campus which is situated on a river--so lots of water. They are functional with the awesome tread on the bottom, as well as very stylish and sleek! So yes! I highly recommend these :) They are affordable and good quality.

Even though I am most likely sending these boots back, I will still give them 4 stars. Here's the problem...they are tight at the top. Which is really surprising because I have never had a problem with any boots fitting me that way. And I read the reviews that stated that they were larger at the top! I didn't get them to make any fashion statement. I wanted simple rain boots that would coordinate with whatever rain jacket I decided to put on that day. So I got simple black. They look great and even feel great except that I suspect if I were to wear them for longer than it takes to wash my car I would have skin issues. I have average size calves--never measured them as I've never encountered a boot that I couldn't wear. I wear an 8.5 in shoes, got the 9. It fit great on my foot. I had on black leggings when I pulled them out of the box and tried them on and was shocked to feel how tight they were on my calves. I don't think there is any way that I could wear jeans tucked in...and I only wear skinny jeans. So 4 stars because if there were even an extra 1/2 inch at the top I think they would be perfect. Very flexible. You could fold them over and pack them easily. This is super important to me as I had decided not to buy any rain boots that would take up my entire carry on when flying. These are perfect for that purpose. So...if you have smaller calves and want a great looking simple boot that you can pack easily, these are your boots. Also, love the flat bottom in a rain boot. I don't really like the kind that have a slight heel. Great traction as well. So back to the beginning where I said I will 'most likely send them back'. Because they were very reasonably priced ($25ish with reward points) I may talk myself into keeping them and trying to stretch the top or wear them only with leggings and see what happens?? Who knows...I ordered some Sloggers just now and if they work better I will probably send these back. Ugh...stupid calves!

I wear these boots in the rain, also with heavy socks in the snow. The fit is comfortable and fashionable. They are not wide at the top even for my smaller legs which is important on a rainy day. Who wants rain falling in your boots. I have flat feet and an extra bone in front of each ankle that hurts like heck if i don't have decent padding and support. As long as I wear thick socks my fake ankles as we call them, don't hurt.nThe inside of the boots are lined with some soft felt like material but on a cold winter day I would stll recommend a nice heavy sock. I wore these boots for the first time to an outdoof football game Giants and 49'ers it was cold and I wore wool socks with them and my feet were nice and warm. I have worn these boots often and they are not falling apart, ripping or anything. They are easy to clean, just wipe them with water and they are clean and shiny. They are sharp, high quality boots. Kamik is a great name in rain boots, these are no cheap knock off boots. I have had these for over a year and wear them often and they still look new. I really would like to get more colors in the Heidi. The Heidi fit seems to be made for people with smaller legs and calves and that is me. But if i gain weight in my legs, i will still be able to wear them. I am 5'5 130lbs, so i am not skinny. I bought these boots with my own money at full price and would again.

After searching online and in stores for the perfect boot I decided to purchase these Kamik Women's Heidi rain boots in black/noir. I wear a size 9 in shoes so I purchased the same size in these boots. They are a perfect fit. So far I have only worn them with thin socks but there is room to wear them with a thick wool socks. They are snug but it feels just right, as if these boots were made just for me. My feet have stayed warm and dry. Everyone who see's me wearing these always compliments me on them. They are very simple yet stylish. I would purchase these again for myself if I ever needed to. I have actually just ordered 3 pairs for my children from this same Kamik brand since I am so pleased with the quality of these boots. These boots are pretty tall on me but I'm 5'4". There are other varieties of the same brand that are taller. The material is shiny, sort of a "patent leather" look. I recommend these boots to both young and old. They're pretty neat and do what they're meant to do. Thanks Kamik for an awesome, excellent quality product.

I got these boots in a size up since I'm typically a 7 - 7.5 fit. The size 8 fit well around my foot (maybe even a little snug with thick socks). The ankle support was a bit rigid and uncomfortable, though I imagine this would be cured by wearing in the boots. Unfortunately, I had to return these boots because they were tight on my calves. I appreciated the additional padding around the top rim of the boot, as it usually saves calves from rubbing. With these boots, I just wasn't getting enough "wiggle room" around my calves. They were slightly too tight for comfort and when I tried to walk around in the boots, I could already feel my calves hurting from the rubbing and pressure. The boots themselves felt like great quality boots and I loved the color! (red) I only wish they fit better. For reference, my calves are around 15" around (at their largest) and the listing says "Boot opening measures approximately 13.5" around." It was my mistake for not seeing this detail before purchase.

I don’t usually write reviews unless I am impressed or appalled by a product...thankfully, this time I am impressed! I ordered a 10, which I usually wear, but I have a high arch and wide toes and it is always a challenge to find any boots or shoes that aren’t stretchy that fit comfortably. Since a lot of styles don’t come in wide width, I either have to have my feet crowded, or deal with my heel slipping up and down because when I get a larger size to accommodate the width, it is too long. With that being said, the 10 was quite tight, so I exchanged for the 11, expecting it to be too long, but it fits like a glove! I love that these fit more like an expensive , designer boot rather than other clunky, rubber rainboots. I tried on many styles in stores before resorting to ordering online and everything I tried felt like thin, cheap rubber and chunky, heavy, soles like I wouldn’t want to spend any amount of time walking in them. The soles on these are great quality and appear to have a great, almost seamless seal to the rest of the rest of the boot. I love the sleek, glossy look of these, without any buckles or extra rubber flaps like most other styles I tried. I was concerned because other reviewers mentioned the calves being too tight, and I do sometimes need wide calf in leather boots, but these worked fine for me since they’re not as tall. They are definitely snug on the legs, but not enough to be uncomfortable and I have room to wear thick leggings or jeans underneath. I also love that the boots have the lining on the rim, so if I wanted to wear these with shorts in the summer, they glide smoothly and don’t chafe on the calves. I am curious to see if the clear rubber will get cloudy or stained over time if worn in a lot of mud, but I’m mainly planning to wear these on outings around town since they’re so pretty! I wanted a brighter red, so at first I wasn’t crazy about this dark, almost wine color, but it is growing on me and I think it will actually be easier to match to outfits and looks more expensive.

They're cute, reasonably priced, come in so many colours and fit great albeit a bit snug! I have tall Hunter boots and I prefer my Kamik Heidi Rain Boots as they are not as clunky and are easier to move around in. I have two pairs and love, love, love them! As I mentioned, I do feel that they fit a bit small though. I'm usually an 8.5-9 and the 9 are snug, no room for thick socks that's for sure but I still bought size 9 rather than going up a size!

Die Stiefel sind absolut klasse. Sie haben ein tolles Fußbett, was ich bisher bei noch keinem einzigen Gummistiefel erlebt habe. Außerdem die ersten Gummistiefel die nicht diesen beißenden Gestank nach billigem Gummi verströmen. Durch das Gewebe innen habe ich das Gefühl, dass meine Füße nicht so schnell schwitzen. Würde mir die Teile jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Diesen Stiefel ziehe ich an, wenn ich mit meinem Hund zur Hundeschule gehe. Dort bleiben die Füße ab jetzt trocken. Finde der Stiefel sieht auch teurer aus, als er ist. Eine warme Schuhsohle habe ich mir aber reinlegen müssen, was ich aber bei dem Preis nicht als Mängel sehe. Würde diesen Stiefel wieder kaufen, denke aber, das ich lange Freude an ihn haben werde, weil er gut verarbeitet aussieht!

Son una botas muy cómodas, yo pediría un número mas grande para que te queden aun mas cómodas.

I purchased my shoe size, and the boots came as an exact fit, so no room for super thick socks or anything like that. If you want to wear boot warmers or liners, I'd size up. Saying that, they fit perfectly, not tight or loose. It's snug around the calf area, so if you have larger calves they may be tight. The colour is exactly as depicted, love it! I've worn them only twice, and they were comfy, did not leak or rub, exactly what you'd expect from Kamik.
